I have no idea what this means. Dominique writes ridiculously abstract lyrics and it confuses me. Still awesome. |

I have another i dea for what this could mean and I think if my interpretation of the rest of this CD is right, this is Arthur realizing that his actions are driving everything away from him and now his family or "bees" are gone and he wants forgivness. |

I think that the prize fighter inferno (Jesse from coheed) is the only character maintained in this part of the "saga" if you will. This is mostly because the blood machine is a prequill to the armory wars which is the story that Coheed and Cambria is based off of. So it is hard to have characters from something that hasnt happened yet. |

| Prize Fighter Inferno – 78 Lyrics

This could either be two things.
Cecillia could have found Butchies cell now and he is telling her "Are you crazy!?! their gonna catch you and kill you!" Piggy i think refers to Butchies "evil" thoughts, so he is a pig? And basically the sotry ends with a scene of Cecillia finding Butchie Bleam and then the rest of the town coming to kill him she is discovered and now they intend to kill her so she needs to be aggressive and fight her way out and run to freedom. I feel that with this interpretation, Arthur McCloud is going to intervien in the next CD (hopefully :D and kill everyone or atleast enough of them so that he gets the revenge for his boys and then maybe cecilia forgives him and yada yada yada...
Or Possibly
This is Cecillia answering to Arthurs pleads for forgivness now as a much wiser and seemingly more authoritative. She tells him to run and get out of here or the town will surely kill him since she told them about what he did to her. This leaves the story with a possible next CD of maybe Arthur hoping to redeem himself with Cecillia by submitting himself to the blood machine so that butchie bleam can be set free and Cecillia will be happy again.
OR
(if you have read my other interpretations)
I could have F'd up this entire interpretation. But either way, you have to admit its an intresting story regardless lol. |

| Prize Fighter Inferno – Easter Lyrics

Easter is greatly associated with rebirth (eggs, bunnies, baby chicks...) at least in ancient celebratory matters. So I believe that Arthur has now found Cecillia and is trying to appologize for what he did in the past. I get that not wanting to run around her kitchen means no more sex with her. I also get that he doesnt want to be alone because of "I dont wanna lay against duct tap, cracked or crooked, in the outdoor left outside in the rain" a very lonely scene. And it seems that he is very sincere because he deeply wishes for the past when his family was together and happy. |

| Prize Fighter Inferno – The Missing McCloud Boys Lyrics

Back to the start(ish) of the story, Arthur McCloud is now alone since his wife is dead and his children ran away. Now he is following them (probably through tracks since it is snowing) He stumbles upon the graves of the McCloud boys at the place where long-arm and butchie bleam kidnapped them. Arthur is mouring their death and feels it is his fault because he was to slow in solving the puzzle as to where they were at eg"With time I create, Invest investigate puzzle solved belated" So now he wants revenge in the form of the blood of who killed his boys. |

| Prize Fighter Inferno – Who Watches the Watchmen? Lyrics

I think that who watches the watchmen? means exactly that... If no one watches the watchmen then they can fall asleep, or otherwise become indisposed. This leaves a window of opportunity for Cecillia to find Butchie bleam (although she has no real reason to go since he did initially try to kill her) in the shed (prison) he is in. This is probably just a dream of Butchie's not neccisarrily what is going to happen. He knows that she is impure and so if she enters "The (blood) Machine" she will be killed or atleast in the same position he is in know. He is also realizing that his is all his fault and he is in prison for his own doings and maybe he is fed up with this cult becuase he keeps repeating "Oh you're right our you're wrong, you're right our you're wrong" just bitterly as he sits in his cell. |

| Prize Fighter Inferno – Run, Gunner Recall, Run! The Town Wants You Dead! Lyrics

This is long-arm talking to butchie bleam about his love for Cecillia. Then they go back to the town and long-arm tells everyone about this incident. The serpent refers to the devil which is (they believe) making butchie have these feelings, so he is sentenced to death by hanging so that all of the others in the town can see what happens when you fall in love. They (the town) also assume he is having these feelings just because he hasnt ever had sex and so he has an itch for it and his feelings arent based on love. He is left with the phrase "I'm so sorry for you, you'll never love again." from the judge and is thrown in jail. |

If you read my other interpretations you will know that I believe the blood machine is a cult in which long-arm and butchie bleam are in. So this song introduces the cult that Cecillia nd the McCloud boys run into when they flee their home. long-arm and butchie bleam capture them and put them in cages "Leaving you hooked & off the floor," Kind of like the inquisition they ask them about their lives so far. The McCloud boys are younger than Cecillia I presume because they are still innocent due to the statment "Patiently wait your proper end, From shameless motive to hollow sin," or like, yea right, we should let you live and become corrupted in the long life you will live or we could kill you know and you will die holy. this also is shown by "is this the way you watch the body die?" which is to say you live, become corrupted and then die unholy, or you could die our way and be safe. |

I think this is about the suicide of Martha because she realizes that is Cecillia and the McCloud boys arent there to take the agression of Arthur, she is the only one left for him to abuse -- again. So why wait. |

| Prize Fighter Inferno – The Fight Of Moses Early & Sir Arthur McCloud Lyrics

I think that this is (quite obviously as the title states) a fight between Sir Arthur mcCloud and Moses Early. Maybe Moses Early knows Arthurs intentions and plans to intercept him on his way home from jail to stop Cecillia's terrible fait. But to know avail as Moses Early is killed by some means of poisoning or maybe a heart diseases. |

I think that this is a set up for the album also but in order to know the charcters involved you need to look ahead. I think its about Arthur McCloud coming home (probably from prison for abusing his wife Martha" and this is his, creepy and evil thought of returning home to his beautiful daughter Cecillia. He knows he cant be with his wife (sexually) for what he did to her in the past, but she hasnt left him. So this is why he decides to "love" his daughter. And she knows this but because it is such a terrible thought she tries to hide any thought of this but Arthur knows that she knows. |

| Prize Fighter Inferno – Our Darling Daughter You Are, Little Cecillia Marie Lyrics
| 19 years ago
|
I think that this is partly in the mind of Cecillia and also from the prize fighter infernos story telling point of view.
I think that this is about the continual raping of Cecillia by Sir Arthur McCloud. I assume he is her father because she obviously loves him enough to not do anything about what keeps happening to her and their last names are the same. She cant bring herself to kill her father but still loves him enough not to ask anyone to kill him. And also from the line “You couldn't ask for a better father, The words once expressed from your mouth” Martha, her mother, knows about whats going on, but refuses to do anything about it ( I have no idea why!) Anyways, back to Cecillia not wanting to kill her father, she contemplates suicde in the shower “This is the last, you'll say in the shower, As your blood curves a path, when mixed with the water, I'll do it myself so it's done” But then she changes her mind and thinks about killing Arthur instead which she feels is ironic or “funny” because shes a pretty girl and a pretty girl wouldn’t do something as terrible as this. But then all thought are dismissed and she just takes her brothers and runs away
“You know you should, but you won't leave Arthur,
Would it not be for you, then please for the children,
Cos if you won't they will, if you won't they will.
And maybe for them, maybe them.” |

| Prize Fighter Inferno – Accidents Lyrics
| 19 years ago
|
I think that the blood machine is a metaphor for maybe a cult in which long arm and Butchie Bleam are members of if not leaders of. The blood machine could also be kind of a simplification of the actions of the cult. I believe that this cult is very religious in that they follow the good morals of any western based religion that believes in god and what not. In these religions (now adays to a lesser extent) dancing is in direct connection with sex which is taboo outside of marrage. Also maybe this cult feels that by killing people why they are young, they wont become corrupted by such things like "dancing" and so they are "saving" them. So maybe now that butchie bleam is in love with cecillia, long-arm (still holding to his beliefs) dismisses him back to the cult because "good boys never get to dance". Maybe Cecillia told long-arm and butchie bleam about her encounters with her father Arthur McCloud and they feel that she has alreaday been corrupted so there is no sense in killing her. However, the McCloud boys are still pure and innocent so if they are sent to god now, they will be safe as opposed to wating for them to become corrupted.
All in all a good song. Hope you like my interpretation. |
