FAVORITE SONG OFF THE ALBUM! this is one of those "im in a bad relationship" songs, but instead of being sad and heartbroken, it had a upbeat "holy shit what do i do" feel, reflecting the true feel of a failing relationship. I hate those songs where it sounds like the singer is moaning; stop moaning and make it work! nonetheless, a great song |

I'm thinking its like about what's going on today with all this talk of the global economy going down the crapper, and people trying to scare us into thinking life is gonna suck. but really we r gonna get through it and afterward we can prosper. As for wtf the title means, Technicolor is what let movies in the 1930s be in color. in the 1930s, the depression was going on, with war (world war II to be exact) an inevitability. This could be parallel to what's goin on today but idk, its a kool song, easily the best on the EP. | |

love the parachutyness of this song (minus the high-pichedness) So there was this street in russia named Nevsky Prospekt, previously named Avenue of the 25th of October. October 25th was the start of the russian revolution ("2 little fingers in a symbol" like a hammer and sickle?". so this is about how aweful that was with the bolsheviks and communism totally backfiring, and chris martin wanted to run away to a separate sky because he doesnt wanna be caught up in the revolution. its cute |
