This is just about my favorite D.H. song. Not only musically but lyrically as well.
To me, this song is a reminder of how small and insignificant we really are. Compared with Almighty God's Sovreignty we're nothing. And we think we have the right to say and do what WE think is right. |

"Beheaded" in my opinion, deals with societies asnswers to otherwise theological questions. Hence, Philosophy/History being "dead wrong" in accordance to God's wisdom. The secular/worlds mentality is to provoke us to sin and had thus even entered the church, "...have given the right to let the wolves attack the sheep and bury guilt inside." This song teaches us that we cannot depend on a dead (spiritually) worlds ideals for a life of satisfaction that can only be found in and through Jesus Christ. |

This song is a beautiful worship song that really hits home. Many people wouldn't think twice about it considering the style of music but it's really a beautiful song sung unto God. It's about the need and want to be perfected and a willing heart to serve the Living God. |
