Fall Out Boy – I've Got a Dark Alley and a Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song) Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this is about the 'scene', or being famous in general. I think the line 'Joke me something awful like kisses on the necks of "best" friends' is refering to how celebraties are always getting caught doing something with someone, and they're like, 'oh, no, we're just friends'. I think this song has too much depth to be about a girl and a guy, plus that doesn't really work with the lyrics if you ask me.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – Misery Loves Its Company Lyrics 19 years ago
I'm not sure, but I think this is about how sociaty ignores so many of it's own problems 'And there's a problem here with our society
The absence of my tears is my sobriety' means that people are seeing so many bad things happening, and then just letting it slide, so he's trying to as well, but he just can't. That was just my interpertation, don't shoot the messenger.

Wilson Phillips – A Reason To Believe Lyrics 19 years ago
I love this song, for awhile I kind of thought he might have been talking to someone who died, but then I found the complete lyrics and realised it was just about someone who lied.

From First to Last – Waltz Moore Lyrics 19 years ago
Yeah, Sonny Moore used to be bulimic so my guess is that it's probably about that. Just thought I'd put this out there.

Evanescence – My Last Breath Lyrics 19 years ago
I don't think we should regard this as a sad song, albiet it is indeed about death, it's not about how awful it is, it's about how she's not afraid to die, and how no matter what, the other person will always have something to remember her by (reference to the part abot winter).

Fall Out Boy – Of All the Gin Joints in All the World Lyrics 19 years ago
I agree with everyone else, it clearly has SOME sexuelle meaning, and I think it's also expressing some low selfesteme on his behalf. I always thought it was 'slipping through all the memories' meh, whatever. This is one of my favorites, calm before the storm always will be my first though.

Panic! at the Disco – I Constantly Thank God For Esteban Lyrics 19 years ago
This song is very good, I mean very. Alright, gushing over, I love how Ryan (not they, he writes all/most of the lyrics) incorperates sarcasm into his writing. I'm pretty sure this is a mixture of bashing the 'scene' and religion. Really, no offense, but religion causes so many problems WW1 & 2 to name a few...

the line 'So gentlemen, if you're gonna preach
For God sakes preach with conviction' is most likely directed at preists, because, I don't know about anyone else, but they talk about acceptance and such, but then when abortion/same sex marriage comes up it's like 'nope, no way, you're all going to burn, end of disscusion' it's rather contridictory really hence the 'walking contradiction'. It bugs me. On a side note, so many people say 'gay people can't get married because that's not how it's difined in the bible, but really, in the bible it's okay to throw rocks at people, plus, it was written by a whole bunch of old men for people who were easily persuaded. Really, it was written to contradict old scrolls supporting pagen religions. That's a GREAT thing to base your argument on.

I must admitt for all my worldly knowloge (sarcasm..) I don't understand the line 'No, don't you get it, don't you get it?
Now don't you move' someone want to explain that, please? The only thing I have against this song is that after my friends heard it, I was given the nickname 'gunslinger extrordinaire' seriously, EVERYONE calls me that, even people who don't talk to me on a regular basis.

Again, I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but I've been holding that rant in forever, I had to get it out there.

Panic! at the Disco – Build God, Then We'll Talk Lyrics 19 years ago
I find it kind of funny how so many people are saying the "virgin" is arrested for possesion (not everyone, but quite a few) and are seemingly ignoring the fact that prostitution is a crime. The woman is clearly a prostitute, I think, that she get's busted for that particular crime, but I could be wrong.

As to the whole poser incident, I am not a big fan of 'the only difference' infact, my favorite songs is quite possibaly either this one or There's reason these tables are numbered... How can you say someone is a poser anyhow, I mean, everyone has to hear ONE song by a band to start liking them. If they only ever listen to that one song, they aren't neccissarily a poser, they just really like that song, and aren't that interested in the rest of them. Oh, and there's no such thing as a 'number one fan'.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – False Pretense Lyrics 19 years ago
Man, this hits home, cause it's happened three times to me. The lyrics are very self-explanitory, I think anyway. Ronnie Winter is just, wow when it comes to lyrics, seriously, they have so much meaning and depth, I love this band.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – Face Down Lyrics 19 years ago
This means so much to me, not because I've ever been abused, but because my little sister was in an abusive relationship, and when she heard this song, she broke up with he boyfriend, I was so relived, I mean, come on, she's my sister. Anyway, this song is pretty much a life saver, no joke, I can't stand to think where my sister would be now without it.

Diana Degarmo – Don't Cry Out Loud Lyrics 19 years ago
No one's commented on this? There is a lack of musical diversity these days, anyway, I'm pretty sure the song is about independance, and how hard it can be to be strong.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – Cat and Mouse Lyrics 19 years ago
Definatly the demo.
I agree with basically everything said on here, it does seem to me like it's about a relationship of some sorts, but my best guess is that someone cheated, and really messed things up. This song is amazing, the emotions in it are so real, I almost cried the first time I heard it. This was the first song I ever heard by the RJA, and the reason I bought the album. It's definatly my favorite. Anyway, I just thought I'd voice my opinion even though it's the exact same as everyone elses.
