i think this song deals with the idea that the attacks of 9/11 were perpetrated by the US government in order to provide justification and support for the war in iraq. certain lines stand out to me: "you can't fake the nerve, when all the silence breaks." the silence broke the moment the planes struck the towers. "what's the motive behind the act." "so it's an attack, and that's what it takes." it took an attack on our country to bolster support for the war. |

"storm out to borrow some more". he doesn't mean borrowing literally, the subject is stealing the drugs or money to get drugs. one way street=drugs take you down a certain path and once youve got a certain distance you can't turn back. the second verse is pretty much self explanatory |
