| These songs on "Scream Bloody Gore" were fictional horror-flick type stories, not actual viewpoints or opinions of Chuck himself, and you'd have to be downright retarded to think otherwise. The thing I don't get about all this is that I saw an interview with King saying it's not about the music but it's about the message. If that's the case why would you conceal your lyrics from the public? It seems like if you're more interested in spreading your message than the music itself, you would want people to read your lyrics. It just doesn't really make sense to me that they would want to hide their lyrics after King saying that. |

I agree 100% with the message that this song is sending: Through personal experience and study of history you can see the religion has been used for nothing more than political power, and to control the thinking of humans, that slows the progress of all man kind, by using scare tactics such as the threat of "hell".... But just bcuz someone like myself is anti-religious, that duz not make me evil, as a religious person would say.... I agree with many ideals of christianity and other religions like being a good person, helping others, and loving one another, but I do not need to put my faith into a non-existent entity in order to exhibit these...... So the overall message is religion should be disregarded and we should be investing more time and money for the love of our fellow man, instead of that of the invisible entity who lives up in the sky..... and also SLAYER FUCKING THRASH ON |
