Faggot is not always used as a homophobic term. It can be used as a plain old insult. Have you ever called a man a bitch. Or it's like calling someone an asshole. You don't mean they are literally an anus but you are calling them one as an insult. Faggot is an insult mostly used against homosexuals but that is not always the case. Also, this song is badass.

while my first comment was intended as a joke, it could be founded in some truth, people who hate homosexuals to the point of wanting to kill them, especially without religious influence (which Chuck did not have) usually have had stints with homosexuality themselves and feel ashamed about it, look at Dee Dee Ramone's song 53rd and 3rd, it was basically his way of lashing out at his past as a gay prostitute.
