| i like how they made a reference to "nothing gold can stay" and saying that they do have something golden and everyone keeps saying it won't last b/c well, nothing gold can stay. he believes that it will last, though, and the cliche saying is completely wrong. that's what i think, i don't know if they did that on purpose or not, but i think it's awesome. | |

this is one of those songs that i will never get tired of. i've been listening to it nonstop since it leaked. "i lost my place but i can't stop this story, i'll find my way, but until then i'm only spinning" i can't even begin to describe how this line makes me feel. it's sung amazing and it's just so plain and simple. i absolutely love it and it describes me so well right now. everything in my life recently has changed. i'm a little lost as to where to go from here but as for now i'm just going with the flow and eventually i'll find myself. |

| i think this is the best song on the new cd. ireally like the guitar in the begining and at the end. reading these lyrics make this song that much better. senses fail hasn't really been too creative with their lyrics and i think these are awesome. not too sure of the meaning..but with the halloween around the corner i just picture a ballroom of dancing dead people when i hear this song. i'd like to see them make a video for this song. | |

one, i absolutely love this song and wish saosin would do more sings this way, but alas, they're not that type of band. anyways, i feel like this song is about breaking up, not seeing it coming and never being able to go back to the moment to try and not ... fight about it and instead try to work things out. the chorus is almost like saying he's had many girlfriends and isn't sure if any of them ever really loved him at all, which is why to him they have looks of regret. but life goes on and you have to live it and find yourself within. second part of the song is basically she's can't make up her mind on wheter on not she wants to be with him and it's killing him emotionally. as for this part "I saw him fly, he's never looked this way I saw in his eyes, he's never coming down" -- possibly about knowing someone who is, or he is finally, truley in love and he's.. "high" in a sense. i only think this because at the end he says he's finally home, but it's all just a vicious circle almost. could be totally wrong, but that is my take on it! but i don't think this song would be about drugs. i know anthony green was real into drugs so he used to write about it in old saosin, but none of the "newer" stuff seems to be that way. it's mostly about heartbreak, i think. |

i'm pretty sure it's.. "i'm sorry but i think i forgot to mention, that i lied at my very first confession." and yeah, i don't think it sounds that much different from anything else that they had either. i really like this song a lot and i'm excited to hear what other stuff they have instore. because the preist and the matador, calling all cars, and shark attack are 3 completely different kinds of songs. |
