this is my favourite song of all time ever. got sent to me by a good friend and i swear i'll never get bored of it. as for what its about... i think maybe he was in love with this girl. and they planned to run away from it all, but then she maybe killed herself or got killed or something 'so use your guns, to mend all the broken hearts'. he still left, 'I said i'd be here and i am back home, my world is falling down' like a new start and all that, but it didnt help. and i think the repition of 'i know its sad, but thats the way it is' is the way he keeps himself going. its happened, and he has no choice but to just get on with it. |

i think that this song is about a guy and a girl in a realtionship. for some reason the girl isnt as commited, and he wants to go further and see her more. she does love him but she keeps her distance. i like how he calls her the moon, its sweet. the moon is this big undeniable thing. i like it. i first heard brett dennen on House (ain't no reason) and i just thought, i have to hear more of this. Ain't no reason is definetly worth listening to. |

oh my god. i have this song on repeat right now and it's pretty obvious what it's about. my boyfriend cheated on me about 3 or 4 months ago now and he dumped me. i thought i was over him, this song made me realise how he was perfect for me. i just want what we had back, i think that that is what this song is about. |

no one has left a comment so i will leave a really long one haha... this song must be my life in words. i first listened to sarah hudson as a joke because of the name and some stupid link with a boyfriend of mine, anyway this song didnt really mean anything to me until i met another guy. it was cute puppy love and everyone thought it was forever, or as close to that as you can have when you're in your teens. then he cheated and left me blah blah blah anyway the point is, this song helped me a lot, as it was a kind of written description of what happened. its basically about someone doing something and it causes a load of shit and its kinda of out of control. |

i really like this song. i think its about getting depression and forgetting who you used to be. people are saying that your just seeking attention, and your getting really sick of things. and i think that the person is comtemplating suicide but they have come to a decision in their mind that they are gonna give everything one more go. and then if that goes wrong then its over... im surprised that no one else has commented on this song as i think the meaning is pretty obvious but all the same its a gret song. |

this may seem a little out there, but i think this is a song about a guy who kills himself. picture this... a guy whos friend/girlfriend/relative dies. hes a mess so he jumps off a bridge. its winter and their is a motorcade going past. someone sees him floating there and tells the police. i think this song is being about homesick yeah, but in my opinion(which is probably wrong) its about being a soldier and seeing people dying alone, but then again the ''we wont let you in'' line doesnt really fit with that. great song. great band. just great :D |

kl im first to comment. i love this song. its so weird and i love the twinkly bit at the beginning. i first heard this song when i was copying all of my brothers music onto my computer before he went back to uni. anyway, at the time me and my boyfriend were kind of arguing about breaking up. basically i thought we should cuz it would be better for him and he didnt want to. i thought it was so cool that this song came on while this was happening, becuawse its almost exactly how i feel. its about wanting someone and havcing to warn that person that its not going to be an easy ride. that a normal relationship isnt possible but they wanna give it a go anyway, x |

i realise this may not be what this song is actually about, but oh well. to me this song is about someone who self harms. [{I'll keep on running this neverending race }] running away from something they are scared of, or just the race of life. its hard but we all have to race. [{every time I turn around Sombody falls in love with me}] [{There's no way that I want you to be left behind}] i think this person wants to commit suicide but doesnt want to hurt anyone, the people who love him/her, friends and reatives. so they dont kill themselves. [{There is something that I must confess to you tonight}] (s)he wants to tell someone whats going on because they need help. [{Just save your scissors For someone else's skin My surface is so tough I don't think the blade will dig in}] this persons getting hurt by someone else who wants to make them feel bad, so they are saying dont bother trying to hurt me, iv got that one pinned myself. i think that using 'save your scissors' as a way of showing this is like laughing in that persons face, its ironic because the person probably has no idea what the singer is doing with their scissors. so yeah, thats what i think it probably sounds rubbish but thats how i see it. anyway, whatever it means, its an amazing song and i think that it having different meanings to different people only makes it even better:) |
