this is my favourite song of all time ever. got sent to me by a good friend and i swear i'll never get bored of it.
as for what its about... i think maybe he was in love with this girl. and they planned to run away from it all, but then she maybe killed herself or got killed or something 'so use your guns, to mend all the broken hearts'. he still left, 'I said i'd be here and i am back home, my world is falling down' like a new start and all that, but it didnt help. and i think the repition of 'i know its sad, but thats the way it is' is the way he keeps himself going. its happened, and he has no choice but to just get on with it.
