i think everyone should stop arguing!!!! GRRR its driving me insane this song means a lot to me, and i love it but every person is going to relate to and interpret songs (or anything for that matter) differently according to previous experiences, beleifs, values, attitudes etc. so everyones views on this matter count!! im not taking any sides, but i think that u should all stop picking on everyone else for what they thought of this song. ok matter settled? good |

lol i dont mind the first bit. Its a pretty good song and it has a good message about the perfect life. Did you know that there are more fake flamingos in america than there are real ones, amazing huh! this is a groovy song, but its not my favourite ben song, far from it. |

| Yeah, i agrre with goddessjune and freddysgirl, (sorry to steal your comments) the imagery is amazing, i love how he turns the window in a picture frame, it gives the songs so much more meaning, not like it needs anymore, it has such a strong storyline. Its so beautiful. Has anyone seen the clip about the hampsters? Its so sad, and acts out the whole song with hampsters. I cried after i saw it. (some might think its pretty stupid, the hapster thing, but its not, it really is sad) :) | |

okay, okay, maybe everyone had it all wrong. i was thinking about this song last night, coz i coyldnt sleep, so i listened to it over and over again, and i thought "maybe its not what everyone thinks" maybe its about a couple who were together and sepperated, hence: she's a million miles away, fom me seperated, by a hollow wooden door, and some time we can't errase. then they realise that maybe it will work out and the wandering part is saying how when they were apart, the just ... wnadered, with nothing to do. I think that this song is about somone dying and who had a suffering, sad life. And in a way, hes happy that she's dying, hence: i knew you'd be gone as soon as you could and i hoped you would. but he's also sad. And he can tell that she's dying and when she does, she's swapped places with an angel, because her spirit still remains with him, alough she is dead. When i first heard this song, i thought it was boring, but then, later, i listened to the lyrics, and the way Ben sang them and i realised the meaning of this song. Its so deep... and so sad |

This is such a sweet song. Ben wrote it about his son. Has anyone seen the video clip? So Beautiful. He has such a strong relationship with his son. I agree with LiveUrLife. the part: And you're so much like me I'm sorry and also the part where he says: You'll try and try and one day you'll fly Away from me. Thats extremely sad and beautiful. |

Wow, what an amazing song. I never knew words and a tune could be so sad and moving. When i listen to this song, it just makes me feel so ... so ... i dunno, its a strange feeling. Does anyone else get this feeling? I wish i could tell Ben how much this song means to me and how moving it is. I think its about a perfect relationship, that suddenly, they get sick of, and they've run out of things to do and talk about. Their feeling for each other are just ... gone.
