Just commenting for a second on the song title, I think it also has something to do with being on tour. "Hollow Crown" could be a metaphor for how the band has seen so much success and has so many people looking up to it, but that the person who really matters isn't there, so that "crown" means nothing. |

I think "scars" just refers to all of the bad things (emotional and physical) that have happened in the person's life. So I don't think it's about a suicidal person, just an apathetic one who seems to be "giving up on everything." The song is just telling that person to move on with his or her life. |

Seeing as how Bacchus is the Greek god of wine, I think this song is about alcoholism. The entire verse seems to suggest this, as well as the first line of the chorus. "The chemicals" are a reference to the alcohol itself, and "aid in our neglect" and "feigning all of adoration" point to its effects. |

I think this song is about a girl who left her boyfriend and now she's watching as his life is falling apart. I really like this song as well, I think it's my favorite on the CD. I especially like the bridge part. |
