im still confused a bit about this song, but i dont think we should be fighting about it. i beleive in science and spirts, i think science has failed us in some ways i.e. all the weapons that have been created, how we have lost our touch with earth and mother nature. now i dont know about religion but i think this song does have something to do with faith and spirits. im still not sure if i got this right, i geuss ill read all the posts. please dont fight too much about the meaning. sorry about bad format |

maybe the whole add/adhd (which i have) thing is about talking about taking meds which control you (mine dont their expensive my parents will never turn me into a zombie) maybe this talks about cheap meds (the eating seeds) to control (my parents did research and cheap ones do literately turn you into a zombie) or maybe about before meds, add/adhd did do drugs because they were a bit crazy (which is why i go to counseling), i have adhd and assburgers (thats not how you spell it it sounds like that) and a form of autism, my brain works fast and genius ruins in my family, my great uncle was one and did drugs, and then shot himself, so i dont know i have 2 meanings to this song, maybe thats okay. maybe it does have 2 meanings ps im not trying to act snotty and say im smart, i suck at social studies and language arts, but im good with math and chemistry (most smart people with add/adhd are smart with one side of the brain) pss oh crap i need to go do homework, i gotta get into trig in 9th grade next year well, ill be gone for an hour with geometry homework be back in an hour i guess. |

| hey MeticulousyBland i agree with the whole "eating seeds thing", maybe its also referring to war, and the idea where we just keep "planting" them (or adding "firewood") lets order some pointless wars Vietnam war, gulf war, and Iraq war. it seems like those seeds need to stop before another war occurs, and just breaks between. and maybe the own the world thing is referring to rich people (the evil ones) who don't give a crap about anything about them selfs. and the guy/girl who said the thing about the spokes of a tire about our perception is blocked, i agree with that too. well i got to go do homework, ill add some more content later | |

| forgive me if someone already said this but i think this song has to do with addiction, with anything. maybe about sometimes how you see some high school boy doing anything for some girl, like what drug addicts do for drugs. This song could just how people will get addicted and that they do anything for what the need. like that people will go so far (like having sex for heroin) to get what their addicted to,whether it be mental or a physical need/object. maybe I'm wrong, but I'm still open to other explanations (long ones and not one word (even repeated) ones like drugs or drugs drugs drugs drugs | |

war is good.. for the government to gain power, sucking iraq of it's oil, using humans as tributes for money, being a egotistical motherf*cker, bombing people. corse, its really more like war is only for... now, i will admit that SOME wars have helped people gain freedom, BUT THIS war and others are not justified. my friends dad was in the navy(?) or something, anyway he was only supose to fight to PROTECT the usa not ivade, if he had not gone, he would have got aressted. he said that he saw people deformed and ding from simplethings the us could prvide, such as water poisoning, food sortage, and lack of shelter. I am very greatful he wasnt killed there. now i have some prove of what is happening in iraq. I think god wants to just go to sleep for the next 100 years, so he/she can not hit their head on a brick wall for the ignorance of our government |

| i am pretty sure this isnt talkng about a cirtin religon just, that theres something we cant explain, "spirts" or ghosts, that help us survive things that are unexplainable (dont belive me, i got A LOT of prof that spirts exist), and that science has helped uss but, look at us now, we have electricity but,theres a lot of pollution and many other problems, "science has failed mother nature". so, i hate to say it (im a nerd who's into sciene) but, spirts and faith can do things science cant, like heal people when we are sure they are going to die, or save people from something they would have normally died from. | |
