| Yes, we all make mistakes, and we're all sinners...it's under our skin. Sin is sin in God's eyes and not everyone struggles with the same sin. Some struggle with lust or homosexuality, and others struggle with idolatry/materialism, lying, etc. The problem is when we hold onto a sin, and we're unrepentant, refusing to acknowledge we're living in sin. We have to run from sin and temptation. God hates sin, and I hate the sin in my own life. So just because it's not our place to judge does'nt mean we're supposed to accept sin and say it's ok. Thank God, that, in spite of our sin, He loves us all, and we have to remember that we're supposed to love others above ourselves. | |

This song is definitely written in a way that it can be interpreted differently if you don't believe in God. I see the romantic aspect, but regardless of your faith (or lack of), it's still about God. |

In this aspect, For Today are missionaries to metal community. I can relate to their songs because they're praising God. I thank God for all the Christian metal bands out there today. I can listen to the kind of music I like, AND honor God at the same time. |

This song is very Deftonesish. Here's what I think... Jesus walked on this earth as a man and was subjected to the same temptations we are, yet he didn't sin. I think it's about a person who can't understand how Jesus, being perfect and sinless(white as snow), could die for our sins. |

I figured it was Russian. I was listening to this song with my headphones on the other day and I could really hear the yelling part and it made me wonder what was being yelled along with the main spoken part. About marijuana being ok because it's God's creation...that's absurd and ill-conceived. I don't think God intended for us to roll it up and smoke it. Not to mention it opens the door to even more serious addictions. As a Christian you have to refrain from anything that can get between you and God, whether it be drugs, alcohol, hobbies, TV, even wives/husbands (read 1 Corinthians 7). Distractions come in many forms. |

In the booklet it says Alex does guitar and vocals, whereas Jason plays bass and lead vocals. I think you guys have it covered on the meaning, I thought it was about someone who didn't accept the fire (Jesus) and can never find peace, warmth, and rest and is in darkness. |

The lyrics are pretty straight forward. "The time has come to make a difference" Jesse Leach is awesome. I love Howard also...I wouldn't say I like one more than the other. This is definitely the best song on this album. I LOOOVEE the tempo change though the first verse, and when the second verse hits at full speed it's so awesome. |

I love this song. I'm not a fan of death metal, but Phil changes his vocal style dramatically in this song which is really cool. I also love the way it slows down toward the end. And they put on a great show when I saw them with KSE. I had to buy the CD the day after the show. |

The way this song starts right after the Dance of Eternity is just amazing. The tension of that song followed by the piano intro of this song gives me chills. This song has one of the strongest, most emotional melodies on the whole album and is repeated in Finally Free as Julian and Victoria are dying. The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory...at the beginning, Nicholas has been shown this whole story and parts of it seem false to him, which they are. He still doesn't quite understand. The end is about to be revealed. |

This song is so amazing...if it's not my fav it's number 2. Everything about it is awesome...the heavy part in the middle, the bass solo, and the badass scale sweeps toward the end. I love how this song transitions into "One Last Time." It sends chills up my spine. It's like all the tension is immediately released. |
