Another Correction (actually my favorite part): But I still believe There are only a few things That really belong to me who I am Who I was Who I wanna be Who I wanna be I "discovered" this band on Pandora - where have they been all my life? - AWESOME |

| The Smiths – Unloveable Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| "I wear black on the outside, 'cause black is how I feel on the inside" - HA HA HA HA HA! (Seriously, say it with an exaggerated british accent & picture the most overly-EMO kid you've ever seen - HILARIOUS!) | |
| Tool – Wings for Marie (Pt. 1) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Yeah, Trexor IS a "tool", but not a tool fan. - Hey, Trex: I'm sure someone has told you this before, but why don't you go give yourself a refresher on the lyrics to "Hooker With a Penis" - Maynard was talking to fools like you. | |
| Rollins Band – thursday afternoon Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
First, a few corrections to the first verse (in CAPS) Please let me see the FAULTS that my ego denies me Don't let me grow so tall that I forget the ground beneath me Don't let me forget that satisfaction has no friends That glory's only FLEETING, already gone Ok, that said, this song has served as a mantra in my life for over 10 years, especially the last verse: Let me see my confusion for exactly what it is Don't let me make my rage a tool of regret Allow me to sidestep my frustration and hostility And the violence that comes to me so easily Too easily All the things I have been through in my life have left me with an anger that I have to fight to keep at bay everyday, so it doesn't consume my life... Henry Rollins is the MAN. |

| Taproot – April Suits Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I'm not 100% sure, but it seems to me like this song is about the guys in the band, wanting to stick together through the whole growing fame thing, but also needing to focus on their own lives & growing as people outside of the band. This song seems to be a resolution of old conflicts between the members. (EVERY song can't be about a back-stabbing bitch, LOL) | |
| Taproot – Nightmare Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I disagree with salsashark re: the chorus, and the song is more specifically about televangelists, and how they pervert religion into a money-making venture. He beleives in God, but not this empty commercialism. If required to feed into this bullshit in order to have faith, he'd "disconnect himself", as he'd "rather be left out". | |
| Taproot – Calling Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
A few lyric corrections (per the liner notes): Your taste a stamp flows through my veins (not stain) - The cost I pay (not I'll) Oh the race, of slowing down the pain - I found a way The pace, of speaking so mundane - The sound of gain (not that sound again) |

| Mike Ness – Cheating at Solitaire Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| "I have always been my own worst enemy, and realized it too late" I a very common theme for Mike Ness, reference the Social Distortion songs "King of Fools" & "I Was Wrong", among others. Oh, and did I mention that Mike Ness is GOD?!? | |
| The Black Eyed Peas – My Humps Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song = case in point of the degradation of popular american music. | |
| Nil Lara – Money Makes The Monkey Dance Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is awesome, its the first track on this album. I've submitted a few more goodies from the album (the ones in english anyway). Even the ones in spanish are so musically good you don't care that you don't understand the words. | |
| Tool – Rosetta Stoned Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| NONE OF US HAS DONE ENOUGH DRUGS TO FULLY UNDERSTAND REVEREND MAYNARD JAMES KEENAN. | |
| Operation Ivy – Room Without A Window Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| "Ahahahahaha.. Yo, we're so stupid, killin' each other, don't we learn nothin'? We got a room inside our minds, yeah we gotta, we can't see out because we're blind..." This is at the end of the song, and it continues, but I can't make out all the words...Anybody know what they are? | |
| Mudvayne – Choices Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think everyone is on the right track here (except the guy who says the song sucks), the song is about politics in general, and how the current political climate in this country makes you feel frustrated & powerless. One of the things that makes MudVayne one of my favorite bands is Chad Gray's vocals, and the way he changes his voice to make you feel what he is feeling. The vocal style changes with the different parts of this song, conveying a range of emotions surrounding one subject. I also feel that the message of this song was particularly important to Chad, as the lyrics are easier to understand than many MudVayne songs. | |
