I think this song is about a long term relationship gone wrong. There are mixed feelings, narrator obviously still has feelings for her and doesnt want the relationship to end, even though it probably should. To me "This relationship is based on what trails across the CD case" refers more to him being in a band and what that entails (taveling, roadies etc) as oppose to a drug reference. Also, lyrics are incomplete. That irks me. Anyone else? |

Fue la cancion que mas trabajo costo en este disco...fuera de pedo....El demo era demasiado bueno..entonces primero intentamos grabarla con 12 cuerdas!! y si...quedaba hermoso...pero todavia nos gustaba mas el demo....luego intentamos hacerla mas roquera...y hasta trajimos al guitarro de Cerati (Richard Coleman) a grabar...y una semana antes de regresarme al df...le dije a tweety: No me gusta........Pobre tio tweety casi me mata...entonces me puse a pensar, y dije...a ver...que es lo que hace este demo taaan especial?? y me di cuenta que fue el rollo espontaneo que tienen las rolas en vivo....y ahi se nos prendio el foco! y porque no...escogi a los musicos con los que habia conectado un buen: Guillermo Vadala en el bajo, Loli Molina en la guitarra, Nico Cota en las percusiones y yo en el piano y la voz...y decidimos grabar todos juntos en vivo!!!! y finalmente.....esa fue la version que le llego al demo.......que taaaal eeee?? 2. La cancion la escribi en un momento en el que estaba a punto de empezar una relacion...y todo era muy bonito...y de repente me di cuenta que me moria de miedo....porque?? porque me cayo el veinte de todos los defectos que tenia y que tengo..y me dio miedo que el muchacho en cuestion no me fuera a querer una vez que me conociera......entonces....escribi esta cancion....para que todo el mundo supiera mis defectos...pero que a pesar de todo, soy una persona que quiere amar y que puede amar muchisimo.......es la unica rola medio cursi del disco... 3. Al principio, la cancion estaba taaan honesta y tan cursi...que a todo al que se la tocaba le advertia..."no se si me gusta...te advierto que esta super cursi ee?" jajajaj 4. Loli Molina tiene mi edad y toca la guitarra como maaaster!! chequen su proyecto..esta increible...esta en mi top...porque ademas canta y compone divino...sobretodo la rola de Si.... 5. La cancion no tiene cortes ni correciones...y de hecho...si escuchan muy bien...se escuchan errores en el piano...porque toco muy mal...jajaja...pero me gusto la voz...porque esta super natural.... Seems like the narrator cheated on his girlfriend and is sorta explaining his reasoning behind that. He is being honest about it because he knows that it will come back to her eventually. He of course feels guilty and regretful and is letting her know it was a mistake, it meant nothing and he will never do it again.
