Lyrics are slightly off of the album version - I think these are the live version lyrics though. ^^ Great song! --Album version-- I don't think you know my name, And I think you'd leave me standing in the rain You're a pretty little girl, got a thing for me But you'd cut me open and let me bleed But I've been lookin' at you With your long brown hair Pretty little feet Sparklin' everywhere You look so good When you come my way But I have to look down When you talk to me 'Cause you're dangerous Dangerous You're dangerous And you don't even know it One baby, two, maybe three more years Be a full grown baby, have all your curves Here's my little taste of irony: You'll be a ten hot lady, too good for me But I'm lookin' at you With your long brown hair Pretty little feet Sparklin' everywhere You look so good When you come my way But I have to look down When you talk to me 'Cause you're dangerous You're dangerous You're dangerous And you don't even know it So little baby, you better stay set You play with fire when you get too wet So set me down and leave me be You find the devil when you unchain me But I'll be looking at you With your long brown hair Pretty little feet Sparkling everywhere You look so good When you come my way But I have to look down When you talk to me 'Cause you're dangerous You're dangerous You're dangerous And you don't even know it |

Str8706, if that's how you think of your significant other, you evidently don't believe in love at all - only in your religion - and I pity you. A man or woman can make the one who truly loves them whole with not even the touch of a hand - without a doubt. Also, if you think all people are the list of things that you typed out, you can't think much of yourself at all either and - going by the Bible - God made man in His own image. If that's the case, then His own flaws also came through, as nothing in existence is perfect. I don't think it's wrong to believe in Christianity, just I don't, and I have a higher view of people - and especially love - than I do religion. I agree completely with fallacyofdualism - it could very well be interpreted as a love song in this sense without any trouble whatsoever. The mark of a truly great song is to be liked by many people across many genres of music, and to be able to be viewed from more than a single perspective. |

| HIM – The Sacrament Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| It's well done. This song is definantly one of the best. Love it. I just wish I could remember the words when I go to sing it. It always seems to slip...and this is the one song I really want to sing. | |
| HIM – Resurrection Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Awesome song, very addictive, and the line "Fallen from grace" really sets the mood. | |

I had to explain how this song wasn't as "f**ked up" as one of my friends was thinking it was. The lovers wanted their love to last for all eternity. In life everything changes...in death nothing does. Great song |
