| Machine Head – Blood Of The Zodiac Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Personally I think it's about religion, not entirely sure because some things point to it being someone who doesnt understand and doesn't care to ever understand...but for the most part I agree with ASFalcon13 | |

| System of a Down – Ego Brain Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I am under the impression that this is a song of the mind itself. It is about Love and the Ego. Love is one of the most mysterious parts of human emotion, the blindness caused by it. Love will cause people to kill themselves in order to protect the one they love. Ego also causes blindness, but the exact opposite of love, instead of dying for someone, they will kill someone in order to be on top. But of course, System of a Down, being the complicated lyricists that they are, they also delve into even more than that. "love after [it] rains," this is a lyric often repeated, but what does it mean? I think it means that you feel love after depression. Rain was the blindness of your ego, then you saw love once the rain cleared. "You see my pain is real Watch my world dissolve and pretend that none of us see the fall," This talks of some sort of blindness, but I am pretty sure it speaks of ego. Specifically the ego of the government. The government sees the common man is in pain, but is blinded to his world, and then thinks that no one can see their trick, or the reality. "As I turn to sand you took me by the hand and declared that love prevails over all," To me, this is of love. I have come up with 2 theories, it is of a man dying in Iraq/MiddleEast, as his friend holds onto his hand. The second one follows more closely with my theme of blindness. Turning to sand would either mean, disappearing, dying, or blending in. That would be the person with ego, and the person telling him that 'love prevails over all' is of love. The man turning to sand is leaving him/her. This is my interpretation of it all. |

I think this could be about murderers... first, they talk of love in the beginning, then go to screaming of "GO AWAY." "Mutually, mentally molested children of a Mother, Mutually, mentally molested children of Sin" First, the mother is abusing the child, then the father (Sin) is abusing the child. I'm still working at this part but this is what I'm percieving. "The ever so popular beating that took you under, The ever so popular beating that broke your skin." This is what made me think of murderer and abused children. Breaking skin could be both literal and metaphorical...It could also mean that it was the snapping point of the psyche. "Free thinkers are dangerous, Blame, Hate, For Fate's, Seed." Free thinking is thinking out of the bounds of your morality, which the abuse has caused. Blame hate for fate's seed, which is interpreted quite literally. It means that hate has caused the fate of this child to kill. "Need the one you love and love the ones you need, Need the one you love and love the ones you bleed." This shows that the child needs someone to love and needs so badly. Then it changes it to "love the ones you bleed" Which means that the child needed the ones he killed (his father and mother, friends, loved ones, etc.) "Lives rearranged and lives in my range can you breath Lives rearranged and lives in my range can you see." Lives rearranged is talking of the people who had to change because of the murdering, can you breath would be the startle of it all. The ending where he screams about letting the motherfuckers die is the carrying out of the act. When the music slows down it could have two meanings 1.) The killer is looking at his dead parents/loved ones in sorrow. 2.) Paramedics or the first people/survivors are looking at the result, and can't say anything, but simply looking at each other. At the end I realized something: Columbine. If I remember right, Columbine was 2 people, then killed each other. I literally froze and shivered when I thought of this, but it is a very good possibility. Any other thoughts, please do comment on my original theory/columbine theory. |

| gavmoran, if you hate the song, then don't post it. Shut the fuck up. This song almost has to be about technology and how its increasing as the government become more and more corrupt. It's surely confusing because they mention drugs directly with "waiting to get you high," then they mention the government directly and technology indirectly...damn you SOAD lol. | |
| System of a Down – This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm on This Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The part "Killers never hurt feelings" sounds to me as if it means that the "killers" (drugs, perhaps?) never allow feelings to even occur because they kill too quickly. Nope...I dont believe so. I'm pretty sure "Killers never hurts feelings" means the killers are the drugs...Since drugs KILL you LITERALLY but they never hurt your feelings, they make you feel better. |

Cant say its definatly about anything...I go toward the Abortion idea. Although it could be about the people who kill pregnant women for the fetus, I got this idea from "The game is on." But that probably isnt right at all. |

| Primus – Shake Hands With Beef Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"Whilst there might be a metaphor or entendre or whatever as with Wynona's Big Brown Beaver, I heard in a bootleg him saying that it's about his vegetarian friends who weren't always that way are sometimes tempted by the taste of meat. Just because they're a rock band doesn't mean they on care about sex, drugs and rock n roll, and those certainly aren't their favourite lyrical topics as many people here seem to think!" Primus songs arent very straight forward...now OBVIOUSLY this song was made to catch people with the words "Shake Hands with Beef" and think masturbation. I know it isnt about masturbation, but im not sure...I cant say that anything said above (besides the masturbation) is wrong tho |

| Primus – The Heckler Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| we all know what it's about...its just theyre arguing what its supposed to be...and its ass, they rhyme, since ass would describe "only to be ridiculed"...why would you be ridiculed by anything other than an ass considering its the only word that fits | |
| Primus – Nature Boy Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| No matter what he relates everything to masturbation...the very first part is obvious...second part the kitty and stroking...last part he mentions porno...basically it's about privacy and being able to do what you want with your time. | |
| Primus – Hello Skinny/Constantinople Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Guy who shot someone who was stealing on his shift...god I love the ending: "And the judge he gave him eighteen months, but he was out in three When asked if he ever felt remorse while sittin' up in that pen He said "Hell no, ya know a thief's a thief And I'd shoot that fucker again"," |

| And wheres the last part of this song that says "It's a matter of opinion." again and again? Theres other words that could explain something of the above lyrics | |
| Primus – Coattails of a Dead Man (feat. Martina Topley-Bird & Tom Waits) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Wow...cutebabydoll...I believe there is such a thing as FREEDOM OF SPEECH, like I can say what I want, so can primus. So can you, but you've got to think about this: Primus has freedom of speech as well. Dumbshit | |
| Primus – Southbound Pachyderm Lyrics | 19 years ago |

| System of a Down – I-E-A-I-A-I-O Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
From Wikipedia: "Also, I-E-A-I-A-I-O is a portion of a mantra or "word of power" described by the English occultist Aleister Crowley, presumably in parody of numerologically signifigant syllables uttered in magical ritual that have no meaning without understanding the specific numerology tradition used in the ritual (in this case, Hebraic Gemetria, numerology of Hebrew letters). The I-E-A-I-A-I-O is parodical because it somewhat emulates the sounded choral portion of the traditional children's song, "Old MacDonald Had a Farm"." ... "A short cover on the Knight Rider theme is heard. John Dolmayan forced Malakian to make a short cover because Dolmayan is a self-proclaimed Knight Rider nerd." -Theres the Knight Rider theme thing for you guys who were tlaking about it... |

Ok...I would like to set one thing straight: This is most likely not about 9/11 or the Iraq War! Why? Heres why: This song was a leak from the Toxicity II leaks and this means it was cut from the album Toxicity, released a few days before 9/11, thus being written BEFORE 9/11! Very very unlikely that they wrote about Iraq or 9/11. The KKK thing...much more believeable than anything I've read yet. Mine delusions acquainted, Bubbles erotica, Plutonium wedding rings, Icicles stretching, Bicycles, shoestrings, One flag, flaggy but one, Painting the paintings of the alive. -I'm pretty sure "bubbles" relates to the song Bubbles which talks about how we have no power or say. But erotica means drawing/painting to increase sexual desire, which throws off the bubbles theory....Icicles stretching probably means melting ice which I have no clue what that could mean. Plutonium Wedding Rings probably has something to do with nuclear bombs and radiation affecting everything, or lack of resources due to carelessness that leads to us having to make objects out of other things...Bicycles, shoestrings....can't figure it out... from what I can understand, this is probably about America and Racism...Its just so damn confusing! |

| System of a Down – Fuck The System Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Is the Steal this Album version different than the Toxicity II leak? The system of a down website usually has all their original lyrics to poke some fun at you...because their site says [2x] I’m, but a little bit bit bit, stoned But a little bit bit bit, caned! But a little bit, bit, bit Bit! bit! bit! and also instead of "I'm just the meaning of pi" [2x] I’m just the man in the back, just the man in the back, just the man in the back-cha-cha, just the man in the back just the man in the back, just the man in the back! I think it sounds like how systemofadown.com has it more than the version posted here |
