"Clever lives end up rusty & forgotten Brilliant minds end up with Alzheimer's What I thought was so deep ended up so hollow and what I thought had meaning ended up so shallow" This part really speaks to me, I think he's talking about how so many things are fake, or are without meaning, and how so many things end up worthless and wasted. ie: how people are fake and how so many people waste their lives by doing nothing. |

This version is so much better than the new version, more acoustic and more meaning, in my opinion. Wasn't it originally on the soundtrack of some obscure English soap opera? Because I know I can only find a rather bad recording of it, and I thought it might have been because it was only meant for that show... |
