one of my favorite Pyramaze songs, it's about the relationship and dependencies between the twins of the Dragonlance series, the strong and naive Caramon and the weak and selfish Raistlin. SPOILERS: Through the perspective of Caramon, the song takes us from their birth to Raistlin's detachment. Caramon depends on his brother's presence as much as Raistlin depended on Caramon's strength to get him around. Without Raistlin in his life, Caramon becomes a pitiful alcoholic. |

when i heard this too, i wondered what made this out of place. But, after thinking about it for a while, the song is about a Ghost who watches over brave soldiers. So even though it doesnt particularly garner to any particular movie horror monster archtype (unless you count The Patriot) the ghost fits in as a positive entity force among the horror creatures, a monster that protects instead of destroys. IMO an interesting, even comforting, break from the theme of the album. |

Great lyrics, and a atmospheric sound. It has something to do with the legend of the Holy Grail, perhaps throuhg the perspecitve of Percival encountering the bodies of his fellow knights and finding the kingdom becoming bleak place. |

has the hair stood up from the back of anyone else's neck when you hear, "The Tower knows who you are"? I'm not sure about the specifics of this song either, but I imagine this to be a song inspired by Roland's sober determination to find the man in black and the Dark Tower or it is from the point of view of Brown, his sidekick. |

I think this song is supposed to be a wake up call for people to realize that any one religion is blinding and that we were made to never know where we came from or who made us and that the beings who created us are like us in that they are trying to discover the meaning of their existance. It sounds like scientology, but i think it may have something more to do with an agnostic view of existance or the evercontinuing search for our origin. |

At first i thought it was the interpretation of Fly through the perspective of the pirates of neverneverland. upon reading the lyrics though, it seems to me to be about the world after the rapture or apolocolypse. everything in total chaos and unforgiven remorse. Beautifully done though (the song i mean :) |

I'm 100% positive this song is about Blade Runner (If not "Dream of Electric Sheep"). Replicant was the term for the android characters in Blade Runner. This song deals more with the question of reality and the programmed memories of the Replicants. |

This is a long shot but Im gonna say it has to do with the Emporer of Mankind of Warhammer 40k fame...being stuck in his throne for all eternity requiring a thousand lives to be burned to fuel his life to carry on man's struggle to survive. I'm probably wrong, but I like to imagine thats what its about. :) |

I disagree partly Suicide. While its important to find an emotional connection with the song, it is even more valuable to understand what the song is about. To me, the meaning of a song helps me connect to it better than making guesses. Some songs from Iced Earth are easy enough to figure out (Horror show album). But if your a true fan of the music, you would take to heart the influences that went into writing it. |
