| where you have "...repentant", it should read "You're a man Unrepentant" | |
| Trivium – To The Rats Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
as for the song, it is basically written to the Trivium haters out there. Don't mess with Trivium, you'll probably get skullfucked and every bone in your face broken. this song really kicks ass. When you threaten another person's family like that ("If you mess with my life I'll mess with your blood"), you have to be a true badass, and thats exactly what Matt Heafy is. After a kickass song, he busts out some sweet vocals out of nowhere when he sings "Deceptions." that was so cool when i heard that. |

| Trivium – And Sadness Will Sear Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is about Matthew Shepard who was tied to a fence and beaten to death in Wyoming. He is beaten because he was gay. The 12:53 AM Oct. 12th in the song was his recorded time of death. The first section of lyrics that uses that date is supposed to say "When the scarecrow died" on the second line. The "scarecrow" being Matthew Shepard, because he was tied to a fence and people passing by thought it looked like a scarecrow tied to a fence. Musically this song is one of the less complex songs on the album, but it does use a 7-string. | |
| Unearth – Giles Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| um, no. I read the book "The Crucible" last year in English class and I can tell you for a fact its "Corey" and Ayer is the town in MA. I actually remeber listening to a bunch of Unearth in that class when we weren't doing anything, and now Unearth has a song about the book we were reading... pretty fucking sweet. | |
| Iron Maiden – The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
...also, the story said that Benjamin Breeg disappeared in 1978 which would be the year Paul Di'Anno joined the band. I only found this interesting because some rumors are that this song is about him. off the topic of who benjamin breeg is though, this song kicks ass. I can't wait for the album this september. |

yes, and the author of the website, "A. Breeg" goes on to talk about the coinicedence of his name used in the song. But i found out that this website domain was created Jun 14th of 2006, which was the same time the tracklist and first single were announced. It seems odd that, supposedly, this A. Breeg cleaned out her grandma's house and discovered this mysterious "Benjamin Breeg" who had been missing for almost 30 years on the day "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg" was announced as the new single off of "A Matter of Life and Death." It could be something put out by the band or by some Maiden-fan. It just seems way to odd for it to be legit. |
