I love this bit : "Long lines and warning signs Think of all the lives saved by plastic knives It's naive, but make believe We will never lose if we remove our shoes" I'm not sure exactly what it means but I think it's something to do with all these security measures everywhere we go, espescially at airports. and the "it's naive..." bit is saying that it's naive to believe that taking off our shoes at airports is somehow going to save us from terrorism.. Tbh I'm not sure what the rest of the song means, i think each verse has a different meaning but i'm not sure what though :P |

Sarah90 - that was a pretty harsh comment! bloody hell! in these comments your meant to write about what you think about the song and how you interpret it. so maybe dustbunny27 thinks it's about gay cowboys, good for her, at least she's looking at it from a slightly different perspective, not seeing everything as black and white. she (or he) is not stupid in any sense, they are just posting their opinion. you have every right to disagree with that and say that you disagree with that but you have no right to tell someone they are stupid for the way they interpret a song. that in itself is ignorant and stupid! and btw, not everyone reads the bands profiles before they post a comment. :) and also, i love this song :D |

| i think this song also kinda of works on the idea that love isn't necessarily about being perfect for eachother. you can't base a relationship on the fact that you make a perfect couple because perfection isn't what love is about. this girl knows that she should love this guy coz he's perfect but there is nothing there. no love. no passion. | |

To me this song is about a girl who is the object of some guys affections. She knows how he feels about her and she thinks that she should feel the same way about him but she doesn't and doesn't know why. She thinks she should love him because he's perfect for her in every way but she just doesn't feel anything for him. | i don't really know what this song is about. but then again i don't really care! it's just an awesome song! with some songs it annoys me if i don't get what it's about but this song it doesn't bother me because it's got the best chorus to sing along to, me and my best mate were going home on the bus the other day, plugged into my iPod singing the chorus at the top of our voices :P great fun | |
