Just me, or does this song remind you all of Fall Out Boy? The guy almost sounds like him, and the lyrics are remarkably close to something FOB would write. I agree with NataliesADDICTION, I think that's exactly what the song is about. |

Ahh, this song is so awesome. I think that it is more or less him expressing how he feels about God. And when he says "Dear mother, this is just survival. Can't promise your children everything, but you won't lie so they can sleep tonight." I think he is referring to Mary. And I think he is saying in the song in general, that he refuses to get on his knees for anyone, no matter what they promise. Because that would go against anarchist policy. Get what I mean? I just love this song, what ever it means, it's still awesome. |

| Yellowcard – Life Of A Salesman Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| If you don't like this song, then you are lame. Most every song is about how fucked up their life is thanks to their parents. This one is way better. Neh, I cry when I listen to this song, since I didn't have a dad to answer my questions, or teach me how to walk, or how to tye my shoes. I applaud Yellowcard for not only making this song as catchy as hell, but for actually saying thanks to an adult. | |
| Against Me! – Even at Our Worst We're Still Better Than Most Lyrics | 19 years ago |

They are sell outs. This band is about Anarchism incase none of you knew. Anarchists aren't supposed to support capitolism, and by getting a record label, they have sold them selves to it. Now I think they are regretting it. |

| Against Me! – We Laugh at Danger (And Break All the Rules) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

The song is about how screwed up Florida is, more specificly Miami Florida. Lots of protests take place there, and alot of the time Riot Police use unnecasarry force, in one instance they raped innocent people, and arrested them for no reason, launches tear gas, and loads more. I assume this song is about all the bad memories they have in Florida. |

| Against Me! – Baby, I'm an Anarchist! Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Anarchy is the absence of goverment, not the absence of law. Get it straight. Yes, there is anarcho-capitolist Yes, anarchist dislike anarcho-capitolist with a fiery passion. Yes, the song is more or less saying there is little common ground between Anarchists and Liberals. But even if they have small things in common, they are still enemies, working together only on rare occasions. Just because something may or may not be possible, doesn't mean you shouldn't strive for it. You say its human nature for people to crave power, and think they are better then everyone else. If that is so, then why do I have no feeling of superioty what so ever to anyone I've ever met? And yes, anarcho-capitolists should 'go to hell'. Screw those black and red flagged bastards. Black flag all the way. |
