To me this song is about a girl falling completely head over heels for a guy, who doesn't like her so much and is pretty much just using her. The girl know she is being used but she just doesn't care because she likes him so much.
I think when it talks about 'old bathwater', the guy likes other girls and she realises she is just another on the list. |

To me this sums up the song.
Life can be hard sometimes and it's easy to get hurt, but Scott knows that no matter what you must be strong. You must carry on. It's easy to think God has forgotten about you and left you out of his plan, but there will always be someone there for you, whether you can feel it or not. No matter how hard life gets, never lose faith. |

Okay it may not be your standard Trivium song but it's still amazing. When they played it live it got the most response from the crowd, (after Pull Harder of course =p).
Personally I love it. It's nice to see Trivium taking a view on many different aspects of life, and relationships and love are just one of them. |

Personally this is one of my favourite HIM songs.
The way I see it is the girl is with a guy that treats her badly, but she convinces herself she is in love with him anyway. Maybe there is a reason she can't leave him, even though she probably should. She has convinced herself that it is love so badly that she can't see how badly she is treated and how far away from love their relationship is and always will be.
But Ville sees it and he realises what a 'one of a kind' girl she is and she does not deserve to be treated like that. I think he is trying to tell her that she is in a bad relationship and he could treat her much better and show her what real love is. |
