| P.O.D. – Ghetto Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| to SheafromDeigo: the first time i listened to this song I agreed with you, but then i realised how the song changes from him singing softly about love to the yelling that the world is a ghetto - each style completely constrasting and matches the constrasting values he is singing about and yet he manages to weave it all into a great song. P.O.D. Rocks! | |

This song is great! And the best part is that someone from England came over to the US with make-a-wish foundation to hang out with P.O.D. for a day, and he plays a chord a sings/screams the "we still believe you" part of the chorus. In the words of Sonny "he's gonna be a part of P.O.D. forever". How awesome is that!!!! The meaning of the song is in the chorus, written to the average christian who is a warrior and soldier fighting the battle of going though life serving God. It is encouraging those people that the end day is coming, and that P.O.D. have been through the fire and can now Testify about it, and teach to others. That is what the whole album is about |

MrJRK you really are sad. For shits sake your comments are an insult to P.O.D. and their music. This is a site for commenting on the meaning of tracks and not whether or not you like the song or album and what you do in your spare time to forget your sad life. This is an awesome song, and really highlights what P.O.D. are singing about, even on their heavier and darker song. The psalm of David "If Jah is for me, tell me who I'm goin' fear No I won't fear And Jah of Jacob is deserving of my love pretty much sums it up! |

| JasonTruby6 is right. According to P.O.D. on their commentary on the bonus edition CD they wrote this song to complement 'Boom' which they found was often played on sports highlight vids, and they're intending this as the same sort of song. I like it, especially the real heavy bit at the end of the break, "the first ever P.O.D. riff played with a 7 string guitar". Sonny warns that when they play it live if the roof isn't lifted off the building they wil be really pissed :) | |
