I think this is a deeply depressed and scared/scarred person's feelings of the possibilty of a new relationship, no matter who the other is. |

| For me this song is about someone trying to convince himself and maybe his partner, that Their love is true, special and will last, even though most love stories follows the plot aka. ends in misery. I came to this conclusion partly because of the title and partly because the song is divided into two so different parts, one upbeat (Our love is so much stronger...) and one bored/depressed (Same old plot to these things...). When we walk into a relationsship we know it will likely end in pain, yet we hope and make up illusions. For me this is what the song is about. Great song no matter what the words means exactly. | |
