genie, you're an idiot. you can have a relationship with God and write music, but music is provoked by influence. just because david says that he doesn't like being associated with the christian music industry, doesn't mean that the bible is all together seperate from his music. there are biblical influences ridiling the secular world. you can be normal and still relate whatever you'd like to God. you don't have to be a 'bible thumper' or a republican. i am neither, but i don't understand how that relates to anything. anyway. this song lyrically isn't one of my favorites because i feel like it's a message that's been repeated too many times. OK corporate america is bad. OK our children are being corrupted. OK america is plastic. we know it. but i do like the chorus. nonetheless. |
