I think when she says "you will" she means she will continue to. To me, the whole song is simply saying, "You have been loved by someone good" and you screwed it up asshole. |

This song is completely brilliant! And I agree incredibly patriotic. I think he's talking about the superficial love many Americans feel for their country. As if she can do no wrong. But he knows her, and loves her despite all her faults. And he misses her. Miss America. LOVE it! |

This song is about the importance of music. I just looked it up because I read it was inspired by Kate Bush's The Dreaming (you can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wkkuaTvIso) & Stevie Wonder. The chorus is my favorite, especially "Im a fan in the stands Yes I am and I'm hollerin' hey baby Sayin hey baby." Very cool song. |
