This song could be a drug reference...but every trance song can be a drug reference. I believe that is the more close minded approach. You can easily write this song off as another thizz reference or it could be a song about a dead loved one. Someone who has passed but is still present in many forms. In the hearts and minds of the people this person has touched. It's a message from the loved one.
"The lightest touch of feathers falling
My love might be invisible
But I inspire the dreams that guide you, baby"
The person has passed and although nothing tangible remains of them, they are present in the hopes and dreams of the person they are talking to. |

| Taking Back Sunday – Brooklyn (If You See Something, Say Something) Lyrics

Adam sounds incredible in this song. Anyway, i believe this song is about assuming and how assumptions can kill a relationship. If i may take on the roll of Adam or Fred (whoever wrote the song)
"If you see something then say something"; if you see me in the act then you can blame it on me...if not then shut the hell up. Dont believe everything you hear. How could you think that people's bullshit lies and rumors are genuine and unprepared? Dont assume because i would have told you but i didnt know how.
thats my take on it. |

the title Two Zero Two refers to Guitar Tablature and where the song is played on the fretboard. Zero meaning open string. Pretty profound eh? =P. |
