| you cant always take the meaning so literally sure it can be about long-distance but it could also mean that hes emotionally distant. the whole runnig w scissors things the scissors could represent somethings dangerous such as love and he rushed into things maybe some dilema occured leaving the other party heartbroken or something like that. because of that he pushed them back ot the start. because he hurt her he in a sense lost her trust "took your trust and set it free" while the long distance/cheating thing is still open thats just my opinion | |

i agree with the whole selling out thing Cut it out Your self-inflicted pain Is getting too routine The crowds are catching on through this hes trying to say to quit acting so fake stop putting yourself through all this "pain" just for the sake of getting attention and CD sales Keep churning out those hits Until it's all the same old shit now hes just trying to say how bands that consider themselves "emo" just talk about the same old heartbreak until it just gets repetitive. this song isnt hard to interpret the lyrics really say it all but the beat is nice and distrcts you from it. i like the social distortion cover though. i really identify with this song espescially the "I give you all a boy could give you Take my tears and that's not nearly all" i crued over this girl for like literally two hours i was by her side for 5 months listening to her problem she was messed up like crazy and for every problem she gave me i made it go away i helped her over come all her conflicts. after being so close to her i fell in love. i had asked her out before but it was alway im not looking for a boyfriend or i've been hurt in my opast im not ready yet. then one night she lays it own me "i cant go out with you" i ask her straight up i there any chance it'll ever happen between us? all she could say was "no probally not but i still love you lots as a friend" im still not completely over it 5 months just waiting for some one is a long time. she and i havent spoken sinde thats why i identify with the whole "Once I ran to you (I ran) Now I'll run from you" but im rambling this is a truley wonderful song i wanna download every cover just so it wont get old |
