His repetition is always quite astonishing. As well as his play on diction, really quite refreshing lyrics. t could possibly be about vampires? I know I know, with the vampire craze and all, but the talk about blood and "night on the sun" could be a unique take on it. However, with the last few lines, this has got to be more than just a song about vampires. Isaac is brilliant with humanity. |

I really do think he is talking about being a werewolf in this one. Nearly every line states something that can be related to turning into a werewolf in the moonlight, and being a werewolf. "Every time, the moon shines I become alive" "I am changing rapidly I'm feeling stronger, more alert, I'm on the move I smell her scent and I know I will find her soon" "I'm a beast in the night" "I hope she saves me from the curse I have to beat," and, if this isn't proof enough, "I am the lone wolf" |
