i don't quite see that environmental awareness you speak of. The lyrics are told in a mythological way, using animals to represent the characters of the story. I see this song as a comment on the media and how they cover up their stories so much, by creating so many holes, that it builds up mountains. One such event was the assassination of JFK. We're just digging holes by the grassy knoll. Thus 'the fox' intended to be the Fox network.. and it makes sense really: Maybe a wolf is not a devil he just plays one on TV Maybe a cuban bay stay leaves you less than overjoyed Ask the fox about progress they'll say what's been destroyed |
