| Read Howl by Allen Ginsberg and then let me know what you think of this song. | |

It's got a really intense obsessive tone to it. I get a really stalker-esque vibe from it. But still....I love it |

the lyrics are messed up love, i see you there adrift on the air floating by the open window ah, the sentiment of love reflections that speak of what can enter when our hearts are open here, witnesses appear and recognize how sacred love can be when stated shared, shown for all to see the beauty that can be when love is cultivated our love is a sacred thing like the mysterieis of the night in the darkness unwavering and still so strong come the light our love is an infinite thing like the sun's last ray on the sea as it sets low in the west and the moon rises love, i see you there adrift on the air floating by the open window ah, the sentiment of love reflections that speak of what can enter when our hearts are open here, witnesses appear and recognize how sacred love can be when stated shared, shown for all to know the beauty that can grow when love is cultivated |

| You know, The Smiths version of this song will always be my favorite. Mostly because I adore The Smiths, and it recalls so much from my childhood. But for a cover, this is a lovely song. | |
| Stars – Sleep Tonight Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I like the idea that it's about sex. Most songs that illicit the idea of fucking have a harder edge to them, you know? But this song is so beautiful, that I'm glad it's about something like two people coming together. I think it's nice. | |

SUCH a good song. "You liked to rock it in your car" I love that line. The imagery in the song is incredible. It makes me so happy. I always bop along when I listen to it. |

| Metric – Wet Blanket Lyrics | 20 years ago |

To me this song is about one of those dudes that pretends to be so angsty. One of those guys that thinks he's a hipster, with his borrowed guitar, and his political ideologies. He's a complete and total fake. And he thinks that he can tell this girl what to do. He thinks she should stay away from rock music because she's a girl. She shouldn't want anything more than a folk song. So this whole song kind of sounds like a rebellion against what this guy has said to her in the past. That's how I saw it anyway |
