& to you morons who blindly follow what Michael Moore says, he is known to posses shares of Halliburton stock. HE SUPPORTS THE WAR. It's lining his pockets. |

"It takes not one ounce of intelligent thought to realize that's a big load of bull." Go read about Operation Northwoods. & then go & listen to the audio tapes from NORAD, the FAA, & the firefighters on the scene that day. Go read the news reports about how many from the 9/11 Commission are angry about being lied to by the U.S. government. Go read about who had offices in World Trade Center Building Number Seven. & go read about who ran security at the complex. Go watch C-SPAN. & stop watching Fox News. We have our Reichstag fire. We have our stupid citizens. We have our war. |

"But guys like SOAD makes millions off of writing songs about OTHER peoples destructions" & how does the U.S. government make their money? A great sum of it comes from war, or "other people's destructions". America opened their arms to the Armenians because one million of them were purged after enduring ethnic genocide. The members of System of a Down have made a great effort to have their fans remember that horrible crime committed against the Armenian people. & quite honestly, you should go back to YOUR country; America isn't any more yours than it is mine. & if you can't handle leaving, then you might as well try to go back to the 1950s where your racism & bigotry could at least be tolerated. You're wrong. The only people who have the right to "bitch & moan" are those who know what they're talking about. (& you're right when you say "anti-Bush shit sells". It should. For example, go look at who his grandfather & father invested their money with, & you might be fairly disturbed at your ignorance.) |

Most of these lyrics were pulled directly from the Christian Greek scriptures, so ignoring the obvious Christian overtones in this song is fairly ridiculous; the fangs in the heel, treasures in heaven, etc. "Vheissu" is probably one of the most blatantly Christian records I have heard in a long while. That said, it's still quite good. This song mainly encourages the listener to not put faith in things built by man, as they do not last forever, possibly even alluding to the battle of Armageddon. |

This song is not from Kurt Cobain. While a song by the same title does exist, this was recorded by a fan who needed a token to get into the bootleg trading community. Currently, the only cut from the Fecal Matter demo available to fans is "Spank Thru" as featured on "Sliver: Best of the Box". I personally have another recording from the demo, but that's for my enjoyment. |

Mark Lanegan (notice no "h") did a wonderful cover of this traditional song as featured on "The Winding Sheet". An interesting side note is that both Kurt Cobain & Krist Novoselic of Nirvana fame performed on Lanegan's cover. The song itself is so timeless that it's very amazing to hear the myriads of different interpretations. |
