It's pretty obvious to interpret, but what I'm trying to figure out is why they included the guys talking and hanging out in the song. |

Obviously he had a bad dream that he just can't seem to shake, but he's trying to figure it out. The rest of the song is him explaining his dream. |

This song sort of reminds me of Eleanor Rigby, but just a little. I sort of picture this girl as Eleanor Rigby solemnly picking up flowers in a church. idk it's just a thought. |

| Cheap Trick – Magical Mystery Tour Lyrics

This song has an eerie mood. The Magical Mystery Tour could be an escape from something or it could be "let's take you against your will" thing. It's open for interpretation.
I feel like this has something to do with the band. It may sound corny, but it's them getting excited about going on tour because they don't know what's going to happen. |

I thought the part "When the jester sang for the King and Queen..." was alluding to when John Lennon was knighted because there are a lot of Beatles allusions.
But then when the next verse goes into "Oh, and while the King was looking down/The jester stole his thorny crown" Makes me think the Jester is Bob Dylan taking Elvis Presley's 'thunder'. |

| The All-American Rejects – It Ends Tonight Lyrics

I think this song is about a relationship that has been steadily weakening and both of them realize. He has a secret that he knows is the root of their problems and he decides to tell her which will most likely end their relationship. The secret is most likely cheating or something of that nature. When it says:
A weight is lifted on this evening
I give the final blow
When darkness turns to light
It ends tonight, it ends tonight
that's him finally saying it's done, that they have delayed the inevitable for as long as they possibly could and that tonight is the night to end it.
I agree with martinusgirl because this song is sad that their relationship is finally ending but at the same time it gives you a sense of completeness because you know it's for the best and that they were just living a lie. It's a great song. Very deep. AAR are really fantastic! |

100k is like a way to compare different temperatures so I think the title is talking about 'We'll burn the house down and break the spell this time' This is a good song. It's classic |

I think this is about someone who got away with murder and then the person singing the song knows that he's guilty but the police have proof pointing to someone else so the person singing the song fames the guilty murderer by commiting suicide and making it look like it was murder. That's quite literal but it's one interpretation. |

brokenhearts is sort of right. I took it as
'Cold turkey's getting stale'
He's quitting drinking "cold turkey"
'Tonight I'm eating crow'
this is a pun, eating crow also can mean making a mistake. It's one of those weird lesser-known idioms. But when you first look at the line, it could be construde as actually eating crow since the turkey's stale. That's the literal interpretation
'Fermented salmonella poison oak no'
Because of his mistake (eating crow) he got Salmonella poisoning because you get salmonella poisoning from eating animal meat, usual poultry. It's that pun again.
That part with the poison oak I think it's just like stumbling into poison oak and you're aggitated by it because you fucked up. I don't know about that but it's an educated guess. |
