a guy ending his life as he's been let down by a girl, quite possibly after also taking her life. takes his life out of guilt and regret. my personal fave off the album, flows nicely from the instrumental. i'd just like to add that this band is a tribute to hardcore and it's a cruel irony that they go quite well unknown, as this is so much better than so much music out there. |

stop expecting this to sound like blink 182. sum 41 matured and were better for it. i'm not sure if green day came off better but it was good & hell, it worked! the self titled blink album was proof of conflict. mark's same old songwriting, brilliant no doubt, but not so adventurous. then there was tom's influence of sumthing me - what we have here. this shouldn't be compared to blink 182, because it's sumthin very different. this in particular is very empowering, but i acknowledge it won't do anything for those too impatient and rather listen to the average pop-punksters ever-similar sounds. this is growth and maturity, and it is excellent. |
