THe only place I know of where you can get the Japanese lyrics is inside the cover of the album.
But this is definately one of my favorite songs by Envy, and definately a song I keep coming back to. When I listen to it, it feels like the entire world is crashing down around me. One of the most epic-sounding songs ever. |

| Fugazi – Argument Lyrics

Yes, some of you guys are making the assumption that the industry would have left Fugazi's creative process alone, which is a pretty far-fetched idea. Fugazi did not remain indie for 15 years because they were stubborn; it was because they BELIEVED in things and didn't want corporations messing that up. Bands DO change when they become part of the establishment. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you've been spending too much time inside of it as well.
As for some people thinking Fugazi is "the reason so much mainstream music sucks ass," I don't give a crap about mainstream music or what people hear on the radio. I'd rather be part of a cult following than one of thousands of people who only know a band because they heard them on the radio. Besides, as far as I'm concerned, airplay is just some business men's opinions of which songs listeners should like best. I'd rather decide that for myself, thank you very much. |

The music to this song is so happy-sounding, but the lyrics are so dark. Maybe the intended emotion is melancholy. In any case, I love the combination. |

He says he wonders how Jesus can "see straight" through the "happy rose tint" that he obviously percieves as heaven. But it never ceases to astound me that guys like this just don't get it: Jesus was human! He saw it all! Why can't they see it? |

| Atom and His Package – The Palestinians Are Not The Same Thing As The Rebel Alliance, Jackass Lyrics

Besides, after thinking more, I don't even think it's a prowar song. It seems to be about naive people who are "so for peace" in US issues but believe in war everywhere else. It certainly would make lines like "You have the death penalty but love it in the middle east" and "Admit it: You just like posters of men with machine guns on your wall" make sense. I mean, even the title of the song suggests that it's about people who get all their info from totally unrelated movies or wherever else. |

Wow. I loved the music to this song, but the lyrics are amazing too. Way too many people believing just whatever they see on TV. |

| Raein – I was Fine Before You Came Lyrics

After such an emotionally powerful album, it's cool to see that Raein knows how to lighten up at the end.
Musically, there's not much to this song, but it's still great. |

"Waltzing hypocrites." That's so awesome. Obviously it's about those who mistakenly think commercial success can mix with punk rock. It's so easy to find bands today who claim they're punk but are selling millions of albums along with their own souls, and it's kind of funny...or upsetting, depending on how you look at it. |

The really cool thing about this song is that there's no music to it. It's just a voice recording. |

The band has said that this song is about all of the people who thought retaliation was the best thing for America to do after 9/11. |

The lyrics to this song are so excellent and true. 1905 truly is a band of free-thinking souls. |

The folks at Allmusic don't always know what they're talking about. Emocore has always meant 'emotional hardcore,' and although some people argue that Fugazi's early music (like this song) was hardcore, it's really just indie rock with a punk incluence. Rites of Spring did invent the genre, along with Husker Du, but Fugazi is not emo just because that's where Brendan and Guy came from.
We are getting off-topic, but Terminal, why don't YOU talk about the song? |

I always thought this song was about commercialism and how it messes bands up. It actually tells a story, too. At the beginning, the guy is all nice and down-to-earth, but by the end he doesn't even realize how messed up he is, all for a few (thousand) dollars. |

Amazing song. The first time my friend played it to me it just sounded like noise, but eventually I became addicted to it!
The last minute and a half of this song has got to be one of the best moments ever in music. |
