| I believe the song is about being an isolationist in relationships (friends, lovers, etc.), hiding your entire self from the other person... however, in effect, creating two personas. One persona is your "stage" persona, and the other created of more personal things. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable to other people is a very hard thing to do. | |

Let me preface this by saying I feel stupid for even posting in this, however, by the amount of posts and the content of them, I felt I had to. AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT REALIZES THIS BAND IS GARBAGE? Seriously people, you need to wake up and smell the Folgers Crystals. This band is obviously engineered by some fucktard music record executive somewhere in Nowheresville USA. Their sound is replicated by at least 20 other popular EMO/PUNK/TRASH bands that are out there right now. I don't even understand how you can like this. Do you listen to the words? They don't even sound like what this site says they are. They can't even pronounce the words or use anything but extremely cliched riffs. Basically what I'm saying is, THESE BANDS ARE LIKE THE N'YSNC OF THE ROCK WORLD. Go listen to something else, get back to me, and maybe I'll make fun of the new band you like, or maybe I'll agree that they are good. (my bet is on the fomer rather than the latter.) |
