Has anyone else ever heard the demo of this song - I find it to be amazing. The lyrics are vastly different. Here's what I could get out of it - corrections would be nice. I put brackets [ ] around anything I was unsure about. If I were, if I were a bear, I would be The greatest of all, the greatest of all With a speech like God so Speech like God, so dark and foreboding I’d growl up your fears with Growl up your fears with These dark and foreboding eyes In the deepest voice you’ve ever mustered Basements lurk with [deep heart things] Hopes to cover up our findings Uncomforting, comforting, comforting [Climb along with] [Climb along with] a sense of urgency Dry glasses cover tables up In a home with some wooden fires White water rapids [unsure] In the deepest voice you’ve ever mustered Basements lurk with [deep heart things] Hopes to cover up our findings Uncomforting, comforting, comforting In the deepest voice you’ve ever mustered Basements lurk with… Hopes to cover up our… In the deepest voice you’ve ever mustered Our smiles are made up of Swords and scissors and all things lovely too In the deepest voice you’ve ever mustered Our hands are made up of Twisting teeth, bite grip like vices In the deepest voice you’ve ever mustered Our smiles are made up of Swords and scissors and all things dragging too In the deepest voice you’ve ever mustered Our hands are made up of Twisting teeth, bite grip like vices In the deepest voice you’ve ever mustered Our smiles are made up of Swords and scissors and all things dragging too |

I get more of a sense of religion and it's strange hold in the 1800's when the people were migrating around. The idea of a "body speaking tongues" and the references to medicine as well as "talking to Pales" or, the native Americans. Kind of seems like a song about early settlers. The whole ending seems like a preacher saying "we'll spend another year in this fire!" Kind of like scaring them and such and condemning people for sins. It would fit with the title and theme of the album "Church Mouth" Also: "Shine me from the roots out" is really: "shine me if the moons out" and the beginning is "burn me in blood, oil, salt, sugar, water pails". It's one of those burn them at the stake type of things. I don't know about the whole song, I just get a feeling like Inquisition, Witch Trials, Possession and preachers. |

The ending piece, beautifully done: You'll be undercover, under covers Sleeping with the enemy This is the last night in my body Somehow, right now this skin will have to do You'll be undercover, under covers Sleeping with the enemy You have caused this collapse Between the heart and the synapse This is what we like to call... |

| I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business – I Know The Sum And Substance Of My Evil Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
We all knew this day was coming Our bitter hearts can hear it calling us So proud of what we've done So proud of who we are Standing tall next to taller buildings And filling up with all the reasons Why you should never trust yourself The way you fool yourself, I'm fooled Its those nights alone where your driving And the sky just looks a little funny You're thinking of the worst You figure out the worst Right after you figure it all out You find a way to straighten your head out But what if you are wrong And the world has had enough Its throwing signs from random places To keep you at your toes To see how you figure it out Before you figure it out We fall to our knees and beg The words are gone Its just a thought And we fall and we fall And we fall to our knees And we fall and we fall We all knew this day was coming Our bitter hearts can hear it calling us So proud of what we've done So proud of who we are |

| The Early November – Session 08 Part II Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| There are more lines in this piece. Behind the first dialogue portions. Matt, Dean and Emily all have lines. And the line is "No, you're just being a selfish prick." not 'kid'. | |
| The Early November – Runaway II Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| such an incredible offering for the music and artistic world. These two songs (part I and II) were the first I heard off of The Mother, The Mechanic and The Path. I immediately ran out and got the full album. Listened too it straight through, so as not to interrupt the storyline. This is still one of my favorites of the 40 + offered songs. | |
| The Early November – Session 07 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| You completely miss the point of it. Dean's reminiscing, sarcastically about growing up. It's supposed to be a type of fantasy like "meeting your parents and finding out all of this stuff should make you happy." But it didn't. It's an awesome use of sarcasm. | |

* with thanks to everyone who has offered a translation of each piece thus far. I now present "It's complicated being a wizard" in complete." Try and always find you Where sheep's shed friendly information Slowly spout back, sifting through patient air Their legs are bending back to find The roots where, offer only explanations We will only take what hands and backs and legs Can carry out of here Someday we'll find a home (I found the way out) Someday we'll find a lonely, lonely home (But if I told you, you'd be down) Where they bring the change Where they bring the change Lips likely holes; pouring out feelings Lips likely holes; pouring out feelings Overflow the bows; remote control that holds you Open it and part the steps that never move Overflow the bows; remote control that holds you Open it and part the steps that never move Some children came And found our secret lair; your move Some children came And found our secret lair; your move Lengths of snakes match each silent syllable With eyes like these, hello? You missed the sparrows mark A breath of rockets shone like torches A breath of rockets shone like torches Hustle got a bog, and the people never listen The leaves are full of cracks; pass partly season boats Automated fiction, a film on the eyes Doctor's stand: they'll never form and never seen again Some children came And found our secret lair; your move Some children came And found our secret lair; your move Lengths of snakes match each silent syllable With eyes like these, hello? You missed the Sparrows mark A breath of rockets shone like torches A breath of rockets shone like torches Hello? Hello? (I found a way out) (I found a way out) Lengths of snakes match each silent syllable With eyes like these, hello? Hello? | Brand New – Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2 (Neutral Milk Hotel cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
There's a saying: "If you aren't in Elephant Six, then you don't get any credibility. If you are in Elephant Six, then you're not as good as Mangum." So, that pretty much set's it up for everyone. NMH is in fact, impossible to match because Mangum isn't singing. Mangum is evoking. His music is not meant to be music, but soul. He is putting himself in to every song, which is why he stopped after Aeroplane, he couldn't put himself out there anymore. At the end of the CD he symbolically put's down his guitar, saying that he will never pick it up again for fans. And he never has. So, I really like Brand New. Musically they have excellent sound scapes, and lyrically they have ups and downs. To take on a Neutral Milk Hotel song is a very powerful statement. I have heard the cover they did of "Oh Comely", and in general, I think it is was a very worthy cover, as far and as close as anyone will ever get (because it is impossible to match Mangum). So I can only believe that the cover of "Two Headed Boy Part 2" is just as worthy. |

| Shabutie – Disciple's Anthem Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
It's just a huge break-up song. I heard before that Nikki was angry with Claudio, it was something about "choose the band or me" or something along those lines. So, I think this song is just his way of saying: You leave me sour, unfulfilled, stiff, and aroused. So, farewell Nikki; because I am a desciple of Shabutie. I choose my band over you. |

| Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
okay, let's clarify up a few things... Aliester Crowley did not change his name to match 666, his Mother coined him the Beast when he was six. Aliester is simply latin/greek for Alexander. and He was not a devout Satanist and Mason. He was a member of the L.O.L. the O.T.C and Freemasons, as well as the English branch of The Golden Dawn. but his real place was in the A'A' which he bagan. He is a Thelemist, not a Satanist. He did not invoke satan or anything. he worked planetary magick and the Abra-melin rite (done at Boleskine mansion) was meant to contact a Guardian Angel, not the Devil. Do some damn research people, read a few books, compare some notes. Don't dare claim to know spiritual dictation when you have only dabbled. you only look ridiculous, like Christians trying to use science to prove God... as for the song... There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway to heaven. When she gets there she knows If the stores are all closed With a word she can get what she came for. Ooh, ooh, and she's buying a stairway to heaven. (very simple, there is a girl, who believes that the only thing that glitters, or shines "is of value" is gold. that all she should care about is material goods. so, when she dies, she is sure that if she amassed a large enough fortune in life, she will have all she desires in Heaven at her back and call. So she's buying her way to Heaven) There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure 'Cause you know sometimes Words have two meanings. In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings, Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven. Ooh, it makes me wonder, Ooh, it makes me wonder. (The sign on the wall is saying "salvation" and she is looking at it. The songbird singing is a way of saying "you need nothing more then what you have to be happy" and she is wondering if her thoughts on all that glitters is gold, is just misguided thought. so she wonders, and wonders.) There's a feeling I get when I look to the west, And my spirit is crying for leaving. In my thoughts I have seen Rings of smoke through the trees, And the voices of those who standing looking. Ooh, it makes me wonder, Ooh, it really makes me wonder. (the feeling she gets looking to the west is the call of materialism. it's an old theory, but philosophy follows the sun. it begins east, pure and spiritual. and as it goes west faith dies and is replaced by mediocre materialism. so she feels the pull of materialism. but she sees the figures of her past who have gone that way, and she wonders, and wonders if it is right) And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune Then the piper will lead us to reason. And a new day will dawn for those who stand long And the forests will echo with laughter. (The Piper is not Jesus or Satan or any of them. It is Pan, God of joy, wisdom, love, children, forest and animals. this verse is saying that if we hold long to our beliefs, and we listen to a God like Pan and we embrace the spiritual instead of the material then a new day will come for those who perservere, and life will echo happiness through out the world (the forest) and all will be good) If there's a bustle in your hedgerow Don't be alarmed now, It's just a spring clean for the May queen. Yes, there are two paths you can go by But in the long run There's still time to change the road you're on. And it makes me wonder. (the bustle in the hedgerow is the spirits of faith. it's saying, don't be frightened by what you don't know, it is just a preparation for the May Queen. the May Queen is all over literature she is purity and honesty, deepest faith. so it is saying, the May Queen is coming and you have two roads, spiritual or material, and it is not to late to change yours. but again, the girl wonders, and wonders) Your head is humming and it won't go In case you don't know, The piper's calling you to join him, Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow And did you know Your stairway lies on the whispering wind. (the call of Pan is in all of us, we should be spiritual, for materials gain you nothing beyond this world. the wind blowing is symbolic of the four great winds; north is dreams, east is spiritual oneness, south is love and west is material desires. the "whispering wind is the quietest, most unknown; east. the wind that is forgotten. he is saying "we belong here" but she still wonders if she does.) And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our soul. There walks a lady we all know Who shines white light and wants to show How everything still turns to gold. (as we go down our own roads, our wants (shadows, uneeded pieces, the fake us) more powerful then our needs (souls, the part of us that is indeniable and impossible to be without), the May Queen is there to show us that everything is spiritual, and all actions and objects work to get you to Heaven, Summerland, Shangri-lah, or whatever. Not just gold.) And if you listen very hard The tune will come to you at last. When all are one and one is all To be a rock and not to roll. (if you listen one last time, Pan will reach you, and you will finally understand what it is to be alive. one is all and all is one is a Pagan concept that everything is connected and joined through molecules, atoms, quarks, etc. so it is saying, 'cast off your materialistic wants, because we (girl, may queen, piper, page, plant) are all one and the same, and we do not need anything more) And she's buying a stairway to heaven. (despite being shown, told and explained. the girl still goes the way of the westerners, choosing materialism over spiritualism. she fails. she does not understand her soul). |

| Neutral Milk Hotel – I Hear You Breathe Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I disagree, I think that this song is very good. It's deeply emotional in a different kind of way. Usually Jeff Mangum pulls you in with a deep emotional voice, and surrounds you in musical sorrows. this song is different though, Jeff chooses his music as the primary center, and allows you to drift to it, or to listen to his words, which are intensically deep in a 'complexy' but simple way. | |
| Modest Mouse – White Lies, Yellow Teeth Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
you went out for a walk i'm sure you went a long ways sorting things out in our heads we'll forget in a few days * you went walking to find the meanings. i'm sure that you will, you'll tell me what it all means, you'll know what is in 'both our heads' and once you do, we'll forget in a few days what you meant. the corruption of faith and religion, how the ideas started out good, but died. in the place before you're made they give you all these options like if you've got wings or have you got feelings or can you breathe under water? * in heaven you can be an angel or a man (angels have wings but no feeling or emotion like humans) or an animal, which can breathe underwater (as you know humans can't breathe underwater) he chose lifting 10 times his weight and natural body armor and then on the day his mother gave he came out as an insect * he tried to cheat the system and get the best, but the system (faith) is just as screwed up as ever, and he got punked by it. he wanted all the goods, but got the worst kind of them. he got the strength and the armor, but couldn't use them for shit. people talk in soda pop they talk it quite a lot the opinions that i dont give are the opinions i dont got * all religion is just soda-pop and made up opinion on the spot to sound like you have some kind of idea of what's really going on. Faith is different, but religion is all bunk. white lies fall off my yellow teeth, i didnt convince you but i believed white lies fall off my yellow teeth, i didnt convince you but i believed white lies fall off my yellow teeth, i didnt convince you but i believed * religion is white lies, yellow teeth is the preachers. they don't want to convince you of truth, they just want to hear you say you believe. No real reason to why, simply for their own gain. all so plain its all a plan its all so true of everyone the sky does not ever end the air just gets much thinner * it's all part of the plan, and everyone could see it if they just tried. theres no Heaven, the air just get's thinner and thinner until you die. they try and convince you otherwise. i knew a man who went on and on about how he knew a man who knew a man who knew a man who knew him once * there's never any first hand accounts about why we should believe any particular religion. it's always some person saying "so-and-so said" but never really knowing 'so-and-so' themselves. we get shotty third generation hand-me-downs of what to believe. you can keep diggin down and down inside and even turn around or find in hell you're diggin up again * the more you dig to 'get away' the better, because you'll never find a Hell like they say if you blasphemine, you'll just find you're way back up again, to a better spot. some hippie told me free your pets so i let them all go free it didn't take no time at all for them to run on back to me. * this is a direct refference to mankinds need to be sheparded. the hippie is a like God telling Satan, let them go, watch them stand on their own. the animals (us) are released, but we return, because all the "white lies" from the "yellow teeth" have made us to weak to make our own decisions anymore. |

| Neutral Milk Hotel – Sailing Through Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| hmm, just a thought, but, during the time when Mangum lived in the closet, he said it was haunted by people who wanted to be in him. does anyone think that maybe this song is talking about that? Artists often times give several meanings for a song so fans will choose their own. but the second and finale of this song make me think it might've been about the "ghosts in his closet" | |
| Neutral Milk Hotel – Oh Comely Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| There is another half of this song, called 'Oh sister' which leads in to this one (or so says a site by a guy who met Mangum) so I don't know if it's true, but, when reading Oh Sister lyrics, it does add more to the meaning | |
| Modest Mouse – Parting of the Sensory Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Okay, so, I listened to the song so many times that it started skipping, so I stopped, but, I think I got the majority of the lines spoken in the background finally... so, here you go, use them as you see fit... (P.S. if anyone can correct mine be my guest) There's no work in walking and it fueled the talk I would grab my shoes and then away I'd walk Through all the stubborn beauty I'd start at the dawn Until the sun had fully stopped, never walking away from Just a way to pull apart, dehydrate back into minerals A life-long walk to the same exact spot Carbon's anniversary, the parting of the sensory It’s old, old news to read, the parting of the sensory Who the hell made you the boss? (Who made grass in these exact same spots?) We placed our chips in all the right spots, but still lost Any shit head who had ever walked (Knew that it could only be a matter of time now) Could take the ship and do a much finer job This fit like clothes made out of wasps (Why the fuck is it every time we try we make it to the same dam spots?) Aw fuck it, I guess I lost (who is responsible for all this loss?) The parting of the sensory, Carbon's anniversary Just part of the game, if you please, Carbon's anniversary Who the hell made you the boss? (We’ve got the most chips in the whole damn flock) If you tell me what to do, I know what not to stop (Although I tried I got back to the same damn spot) If you were the ship, then who would ever get on? The weather changed it for the worst And came down on us like it had been rehearsed And unlike we'd hoped, but change will surely come And be awful for most, but really good for some (Who the hell made you the boss?) I took a trip to the exact same spot and pulled the trigger But we forgot to cock on every single shot Aw fuck it, I guess we lost (aw fuck it I guess we lost) Someday you will die and somehow something's going to steal your carbon Someday you will die and somehow something's going to steal your carbon Someday you will die somehow and something's going to steal your carbon (Someday you will die somehow and something's going to steal your carbon) Someday you will die and someone's, or something will steal your carbon (Someday you will die somehow and something's going to steal your carbon) Someday something will die and somehow you'll figure out How often you will die somehow and something's going to steal your carbon Someday something will die and you will rob it just steal it's carbon Someday you will die somehow and something's going to steal your carbon Someday somehow or something will die, and you will steal it's carbon Somehow you will die, and you will figure out how often you will die somehow and something's going to steal your carbon Someday you will die somehow and someone's going to steal your carbon Someday you will die and somehow you will figure out how often Someday you will die somehow and something's going to steal your carbon You will die somehow, and something's going to steal your carbon All this time to figure out and find out we'll be bathed in carbon You will figure out that someday you will die Someday you will die somehow and someone's going to steal your carbon |

| Modest Mouse – Little Motel Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
It is a love song. It's just hard for anyone to imagine Isaac writing a song about a straight forward love. Let me explain it: I hope that you like it in your little motel, and I hope that the suite sleeps and suits you well. Well I can see it as time and a sight through smell and thats why its nice to be by yourself (this is him saying to whom ever the loved one is that he hopes they are enjoying themselves wherever they are right now, because he's not there. But he sees the time apart as a positive because it helps him understand that even the closest of people need time apart, time in their own 'little motels' or personal space) Cause thats what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for, aren't I? That's what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for darlin' (here in the chorus he says he was waiting for some time to himself, not in the sense of a break-up, but in the idea that everyone needs some time for themselves once in a while) We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be put out to drift. Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and they both tell me that we're better than this (He's saying that he knows they fight and argue, but he doesn't want to be left, and he doesn't want to leave them. So he's saying he's learning more, and he sees in all aspects of them that together, they are better then fighting and arguing.) Cause thats what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for, aren't I? That's what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for darlin' (now the chorus is reflecting on the knowledge he has that they don't need to fight. He's saying that he's waiting for the time to come when they will be above the fighting and arguing and the 'drifting to little motels' ) We trade tit for tat, yeah that for this and I don't think that there was an insult that was missed. I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and, I'm very sorry (Here, they are still apart, and he is saying that he knows how they work, how when one does something the other compensates, so if he argues, they do, and if the other insults, he does. He says that he doesn't want to live this way, and he is sorry that he is.) Cause thats what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for, aren't I? That's what I'm waiting for, that's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for darlin' (Again the chorus is reflecting on the stanza, he is waiting for forgiveness for his mistakes and for his part of the relationship problems, he's waiting for her to say that everything is alright again) The remainder of a shooting star landed directly on our broke down little car before we had made a wish that we would be missed if one another just did not exist (This is the most hopeful part of the entire song. He is with her again (they've left their 'little motels' and have again met) and he is about to wish on a shooting star that they would not have to miss each other (break-up) and the star lands right in front of them, signalling that they will be together forever. if a wishing star comes to you it's a really magickal event, and it fell on to their 'broke down car' or relationship, and now it'll all be better) Cause thats what we're waiting for, That's what we're waiting for, that's what we're waiting on, aren't we? That's what we're waiting for, that's what we're waiting for, that's what we're waiting for darlin' That's what we're waiting for, that's what we're waiting for, that's what we're waiting for aren't we? (The extended ending chorus is simply implying that they are both waiting for that shooting star to come and blow apart the fractures of their 'broke little car' (relationship) so that everything will be alright again) |

did anyone stop and debate if the lines are actually meant to be said as follows: (in verse I) But God, who'd wanna be God? Who'd wanna be such an ashole? But God, who'd wanna be God? Who'd wanna be such an ashole? (in verse III IV) Who'd wanna be Who'd wanna be such a control freak Who'd wanna be Who'd wanna be such a control freak (in verse VIII) But God, who'd wanna be God? | Modest Mouse – Ohio Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I'm upset and I leave the doors open wide Our hearts are used up, cracked and dry Pulled the scabs off of regrets We haven't learned to eat our conscience yet Rows of lights to illuminate lines Why don't they turn them off and let us see night Drove crazed grooming my lies You can't look in on one way eyes, Ohio these are two of the greatest lines ever. if you don't find emotional depth within them, then you really are as cracked up, used up, and dry as Issac is saying. but if you can be stirred, touched and felt, then Issac has done his job, and he is freeing you through inspirational and thought provoking lyrics that open you up to the fact that life is more then just a straight shot down the open road. cut the lights once in a while, and just kinda look around you and listen... you'll find more to life then just what they show you. and if you're brave, and open, you'll embrace the lines left out of the illuminated rows. Issac sings about understanding that the obvious isn't always the most beautiful. giving back the same note you recieved instead of rewriting what they already told you. seeing the world for flaws and all. undertanding yourself inside and out, good and bad. and seeing the road all around you, just not as a tunnel vision in front of you. |

| Coheed and Cambria – Hearshot Kid Disaster Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I dunno about the full meaning, but, here, the lyrics Still searching for your call today, Sit down, and structure will you be the engineer? Still tired and dreaming out against And overboard when pain kills You'll hate me and wait for or Then call me crazy and pretend I left us discontent and afraid So what, so I'm crazy Then send me justice And I'll have Paris in flames Still searching for your faith In the arm that killed the President Relapse waiting here for... Still searching for your face In the crowd that killed the President Relapse waiting here for... The army may, though I won't fail you now Dear Captain send the S.O.S. When we're gonna go down The army may, though I won't fail you now (Going down well you're all fucked up for sure) Dear Captain send the S.O.S. When we're gonna go down Wound open and squeezing my heart against This pain inflicts And in passion I bleed for it But with this what they gave me This book and flint and a match to go with it Still searching for your face In the arm that killed the President Relapse waiting here for... Still searching for your face In the crowd that buried New Mexico I'll be waiting here for... The army may, though I won't fail you now Dear Captain send the S.O.S. When we're gonna go down The army may, though I won't fail you now (Going down well you're all fucked up for sure) Dear Captain send the S.O.S. When we're gonna go down Well have you ever heard the lyrics he sang? In his thoughtful transmission The words lost sentence remain Sing his song, sing his song loud Structure will you be the engineer? Well where's your song Or have you lost the key or tone? Thank God for your strength now Would you hold your breath? Waiting for me to exhale In the short life lived Thank God for your strength now Would you hold your breath? Waiting for me to exhale (pray) In the short life lived, and now Oh my God!! When you live, you hang Oh my God!! When you learn, when you live Oh whoa, live, you break!! Oh my God! Oh break! Oh my God! You! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! |

| Blue October – Hate Me Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think this is a very beautiful song. I don't say that about many songs, usually only ones written by an artist that I very highly respect and admire. I will admit that I had never heard of Blue October until I heard "Hate Me" on the radio one day, well, the ending of the chorus actually. I had a friend find me the song (via the chorus) a few days later and I listened to it all, and, I haven't been struck as deep since the days of The Pumpkins. I found it to be a very beautiful song. Amazing lyrics, and the meanings are myriad. everything said here and more. including the after effects of failure. the final verse is about what happens when he fails and drives away his mom, or whomever. no one commented about that yet (the third verse is my favorite one in the song). but anyway, so as not to ramble, i also have an answer to some of the questions posed, namely, lyrics wise. I listened and worked and translated them all... If you're dreaming are you dreaming of me I can’t believe you actually picked me… Hi Justin! This is your mother... its 2:33 on Monday afternoon. I was just calling to see how you were doing. You sounded really uptight last night, it made me a little nervous and a lit- Well it made me nervous that it sounded like you were nervous too. I just want to make sure you are really okay And wanted to see if you were checking in on your medication too. You know I love ya, take care honey I know you're under a lot of pressure. See ya. Bye, bye! I have to block out thoughts of you, so I don't lose my head They crawl in like a cockroach leaving babies in my bed Dropping little reels of tape to remind me that I'm alone Playing movies in my head that make a porno feel like home There's a burning in my pride, a nervous bleeding in my brain An ounce of peace is all I want for you, Will you never call again? And will you never say that you love me just to put it in my face And will you never try to reach me, it is I that wanted space Hate me today. Hate me tomorrow. Hate me for all the things I didn't do for you. Hate me in ways, yeah ways hard to swallow. Hate me so you can finally see what’s good for you. I'm sober now for 3 whole months, it's one accomplishment that you helped me with. The one thing that always tore us apart is the one thing that I won't touch again. In my sick way I want to thank you for holding my head up late at night While I was busy waging wars on myself, you were trying to stop the fight You never doubted my warped opinions on things like suicidal hate You made me compliment myself when it was way too hard to take So I'll drive so fucking far away that I'll never cross your mind And do whatever it takes in your heart to leave me behind Hate me today. Hate me tomorrow. Hate me for all the things I didn't do for you. Hate me in ways, yeah ways hard to swallow. Hate me so you can finally see what’s good for you And with a sad heart I say bye to you and wave Kicking shadows on the street for every mistake that I have made And like a baby boy I never was a man Until I saw your blue eyes cry and I held your face in my hand And then I fell down yelling "Make it go away!" Just make her smile come back and shine just like it used to be And then she whispered "How can you do this to me?" Hate me today. Hate me tomorrow. Hate me for all the things I didn't do for you. Hate me in ways, yeah ways hard to swallow. Hate me so you can finally see what’s good for you Bye, bye, bye, bye… For you... Bye, bye, bye, bye… For you... For you… I can’t believe you actually picked me Hi Justin! Hi Justin! Hi Justin! Hi Justin! Hi Justin! Hi Justin! Hi Justin! |

| Our Lady Peace – Stealing Babies Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The Adam, Eve and Lilith thing is probably not what this is about, but it does have some interesting coincidences. I think it's more the AIDS and HIV reasoning. but, the Adam, Eve, and Lilith story is something like this: God makes Adam, so, Adam is in the garden, Adam is lonely, so, God makes Lilith just like was stated, with mud and dirt and stuff, she's also like part sea snake and stuff. But then, a demon named Samael tricks Lilith in to thinking she's Adams equal, or better (as Lucifer did) but God's like, no, I made Adam in my image, not you. so God banishes her, and makes Eve to be more loyal. Lilith is then taken in by Samael, and they become a demonic Adam and Eve of sorts, and, yes, Lilith does go and start stealing Eve's babies, and then Samael (or Lucifer) convinces her to steal the forbidden fruit (as a snake) to ward of Lilith. God then banishes Adam and Eve. Lilith was then passed from faith to faith for a long time. in some, she steals ears. in some, she gives wet dreams. in some she steals babies. in some she's a red haired witch that has siren like abilities. the list goes on and on, she is in most major religions. |

| Evanescence – Zero (Smashing Pumpkins cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I've only heard the original version (i've spent fifteen years trying to collect as much of the Pumpkins as i can but 21 albums is a lot to hunt down, not counting bootlegs) and i've just recently, past two years maybe, started listening to Evanescence, and, i will say, Billy Corgan is a master of writing from the soul, every song, is something deeply emotional. and Amy Lee is a master at aurating the soul. so, when you bring someone who writes of the soul, and one who can sing of the soul, there can be no wrong. | |
| At the Drive-In – Non-Zero Possibility Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
let me try and explain that better... ~ quarentined ~ machete for hands, authorites hiding behind masks. it's a guy whose done something wrong, he made himself into something and now he's started to hurt people (break the weak) but in hurting them he's spreading a virus (a virus conspires). the chorus is the guy saying "i have the cause, i'll spread it (have trigger, will travel) and i'll start a frenzy for a cure (feeding frenzy, it's contagious) and soon i'll spark the change (single spark, spectral fire)" then verse two is all about this disease and virus spreading. the authorities watch towns fall under it (towns in webs, strung over auditoriums) but no one can do anything (no call to arms) and soon it becomes a contagious frenzy to get a cure (slave trade the weak) and all hell breaks loose so to speak. the whole "push becomes shove" part is a guy who comes into play during "non-zero" because he's watching everyone bury themselves in fear of this virus and catching the cure contagion. the ending is the guy saying "i told you i'd start the fire with the disease." and he ends saying that. ~ Non-zero Possibility ~ it begins with the "push becomes shove" guy. he's counting the bodies wasted in efforts to get the cure for the disease. he says he hates counting them and just wants to paint happiness on them as if they all got the cure. then he sees now that mankind has fallen prey, we spread it to animals (fly in tear ducts) the chorus is saying: it's a disease, diseases leave contusions (bruises, welts, rashes, etc) and the disease eats you (it's hungry and devours all) and it enters the blood and spread (all veins, highway, etc) and then it spreads from humans (this hex delivered, spent) and now animals and pets have it (drawn and quartered pets) like an orchestra its reaching a climax (orchestra influenza) and it grows and grows. the second verse is saying: after we're dead, we're just the pocket sized case. it'll sleep dormant until someone finds us. then it will begin again, all tenants found, with their prefix (all the next cases, because they came here) and it will continue to expand continuously. now, second chorus, same meaning. then, for the finale, return to the guy watching and he just goes: i've had enough living as the last one left, (fevered blizz, central nervousness), it's my turn to go (i was bitten on the entrance) so he lets it take him. perhaps the fly bit him, or a dog, or other quartered pet. but he dies from it and it will now inevitably spread. |

| At the Drive-In – Non-Zero Possibility Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
i could be completely wrong about this, but, lets look at it this way for a second... take an earlier song on the album, called "Quarentined" and look at it's lyrics. now place "Non-zero Possibility" immediatly after it. kind of creepy? look how the lyrics go into one another... (quarentined) Autonomous machete for hands Warden and judge hide behind masks Wet raindrop lull, small rationing Exhumed the rhetoric of “Break the weak” In single file sanction this outbreak A virus conspires Push becomes shove, and days become months And I seem to have forgotten The warmth of this sun Feeding frenzy it's contagious (Have trigger will travel, have trigger will travel) Feeding frenzy it's contagious (Have trigger will travel, have trigger will travel) Single sparks are spectral fires (Have trigger will travel, have trigger will travel) Feeding frenzy it's contagious Contagious, contagious, contagious, contagious Contagious, contagious, contagious, contagious Shackled the grapple and the sentinels found Binoculars watch cardboard towns strung up in webs The net was flung over the auditorium Slave trade the weak, no call to arms Sanction this outbreak a virus conspires Push becomes shove, and days become months And I seem to have forgotten The warmth of this sun Feeding frenzy it's contagious (Have trigger will travel, have trigger will travel) A single spark can start a spectral fire (Have trigger will travel, have trigger will travel) Feeding frenzy it's contagious (Have trigger will travel, have trigger will travel) A single spark can start a spectral fire A single spark can start a spectral fire (Have trigger will travel) A single spark can start a spectral fire (Have trigger will travel) A single spark can start a spectral fire (Have trigger will travel) A single spark can start a spectral fire I'm just tired of counting bodies, Is this mausoleum tardy? Let's just paint you a pretty face, Flies dip tongues into tear ducts In toothpicks fought unborn Contusion is hungry they still eat their young Proto-culture null and void, All veins in highway laps This breath collapsed again, This hex was delivered spent Orchestra influenza, Drawn and quartered pets It dwells and grows, and grows This is the pocket-sized edition, Rapid sleep through benediction Let's just paint you a pretty face, Museums mark their bodies down All the tenants found All the distance in their prefix Contusion is hungry they still eat their young Proto-culture null and void, All veins in highway laps This breath collapsed again, This hex was delivered spent Orchestra influenza, Drawn and quartered pets It dwells and grows, and grows Fevered bliss into central nervousness Bitten on the entrance, I was bitten on the entrance Fevered bliss into central nervousness Bitten on the entrance, I was bitten on the entrance Bitten on the entrance, I was bitten on the entrance Bitten on the entrance, bitten it seems like the first song is saying "caught a disease and did something, now i'm being punished" cuz he has machete hands and authorities hide from him, but he says he's starting a fire of some kind. he starts a "feeding frenzy" so it's a disease and he has the trigger and he's spreading it. now enter "non-zero" and a guys counting bodies and looking over the dead. he sees it spreading from human to human and then to flies (flies in tear ducts) and he knows when he goes to sleep he'll catch it. so he does. hence, "bitten on the entrance" to sleep and now he's diseased. all because he was sick of disposing of the bodies. i dunno, i could be crazy, but it's a connection i made. |

the lines as the language dissolves and the sentence lists, a slow alphabet of rain is whispering, 'aabcttipacbdefg...' since I replaced the I in live with an O, I can't remember who you are... could be saying "we're so concerned with returning to our roots (cutting the hair and becoming cured) that we're actully forgetting what those roots are. can't remember the alphabet, doesn't understand the difference between life and love etc. |

| Anatomy of a Ghost – On To Morning Stars Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
We flail on to morning stars; we'll offer all of ourselves Offer all of ourselves just not to close our eyes Seize onto the sun as it rises in the east Ascend to open doors hanging heavenly Suspended in the superlunary Even broken you'll be bribed to stand Was it ever silence telling you oh, oh we won't last long If this canopy crashes down, crushing us That's the only way to break this apart And although the moon is falling down on… Don't expect this day to end Do you see that star? Well, I'll meet you there When you read this you'll be well on your way And please write soon, so I know that you Have gotten home safe please don't forget me Was it ever silence telling you oh, oh we won't last long If this canopy crashes down, crushing us That's the only way to break this apart That’s the only way to break this apart How I worked hearts molded in mache To some mended way of beating Before we behold them break and fold (The summer to see you again) Painting pictures that will never fade still they crack (They paint up my sails… Never… Never) Clutched at the crushing in our chests (The summer to see you again) Dizzy we'll see stars dazzle like glass shards sparkle shatter (They paint up my sails… Never… Never) The violence in destroyed frames Painting pictures that will never fade still they crack Wake up! By God wake up! Wake up right now! And if the sheltering sky will slip to sever us we’ll receive it. We will reap it always remember How I worked hearts molded in mache To some mended way of beating Before we behold them break and fold (The summer to see you again) Painting pictures that will never fade still they crack (They paint up my sails… Never… Never) Clutched at the crushing in our chests (The summer to see you again) Dizzy we'll see stars dazzle like glass shards sparkle shatter (They paint up my sails… Never… Never) The violence in destroyed frames Painting pictures that will never fade still they crack Was it ever silence? |

| Anatomy of a Ghost – Last Transmission Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
here ya go... So this is my last transmission, the words that soon fall to the dust And no I won’t be home, on this day and in these fists was held Questions unanswered, and it is killing me, it is killing me Kiss of black on our lips lungs breaking so cave in And forget these words spoken in sequence won’t be our last Plain wrapped brown package placed in our arms Tied up with string, explodes while scanning horizons Feel skin get numb as the words begin to fall, all begins to fall We woke up on the day before we were handed the open book Chamber clicks and the pin breaks the shell When these hands fell from sore to block our eyes from seeing more Fingers making a picket fence hiding from what we know Fading slowly into white light… this was all, this was ours, and this was all Kiss of black on our lips lungs breaking so cave in And forget these words spoken in sequence Plain wrapped brown package placed in our arms Tied up with string, explodes while scanning horizons Feel skin get numb as the words begin to fall, all begins to fall Way to go, wait it out, it won’t be long Climbing up these misplaced spires in our hopes they would find us Wait it out and drop satellites, just tonight, give it up This was all, this was ours, and this was all ours Kiss of black on our lips lungs breaking so cave in And forget these words spoken in sequence won’t be our last Plain wrapped brown package placed in our arms Tied up with string, explodes while scanning horizons Feel skin get numb as the words begin to fall, all begins to fall Plain wrapped brown package placed in our arms Tied up with string, explodes while scanning horizons Feel skin get numb as the words begin to fall, all begins to fall Tear the clouds bring on the rain watching faces fall Every day letting it worsen they’ll never learn Knew we knew just not enough So now back to the present found at the tops Of the rock walls where the spires climb So tall the wheat fields, so tall the wheat fields Growing up too much, the importance of fate, of faith The head bumps ahead bleeding from burning sun Lungs breaking so cave in, lungs breaking so cave in Lungs breaking so cave in, lungs breaking so cave in Lungs breaking so, lungs breaking so cave in Lungs breaking so, lungs breaking so cave in Lungs breaking so cave in, so cave in |

| Anatomy of a Ghost – In Case Of Future Complications Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
once more, to find meaning, the right and complete lyrics are required... Rewrite the book chapter three is empty Pure white with headings in the shadows One voice moves and lips are absent whispers Designed for the future, twisted steel frame Seals glass walls observation seating This room will be full one day Shoot when you see the pales of their eyes Climbing up to meet us, to take us on So place your rope back in that socket For rebuilding from these losses We won’t meet again, we won’t be taken Now in the open window smearing portrait Across the view reset the stopped watch Two days behind? Did I sleep through it? Consciousness takes control Semi trucks and white dotted lines Car still in drive, just pull over park Get out to climb, the fence breaks And skins falling down dead leaf covered ground Hide, much softer forgives the concrete sidewalks I just expected more Shoot when you see the pales of their eyes Climbing up to meet us, to take us on So place your rope back in that socket For rebuilding from these losses We won’t meet again, we won’t be taken And did you forget, did you forget Those cold hands on your face The ones sliding down to your neck And you won’t miss the pressure of feet Standing on your chest That’s just how the body reacts when the scene is wrong Set the stopwatch two days behind, did I sleep through it? Climb yourself up towards the hole in the sky Consciousness takes control Shoot when you see the pales of their eyes Climbing up to meet us, to take us on So place your rope back in that socket For rebuilding from these losses We won’t meet again, we won’t be taken So place your rope back in that socket For rebuilding from these losses We won’t meet again, we won’t be taken |

to decipher the song, you must first have all the lyrics... here ya go... by the way, they regrouped. awesome band... We're surrounded… just drop the gun The fields have been cut off with stars and black windmills The ticking clock spins out of control Erosion claims the monuments The wires rust sets the ghost with such hollow empty sound Breaking on its touch to eardrums Traversing these low vibrations to an awful piercing pitch So tear us down so we can cut our throats Leaving the words written in the sky No we won't, no we won’t Put these hands down tonight And breathing takes practice and its practice we missed So we died end transmission we're giving up Climb the spires in hopes of… The flowing uncut grass climbs up all in efforts to drag us down Hidden from the stand off as if they wouldn't look Turn the lights low. Wasting precious time. Wait for no one. Tell it like it is. Turn the lights low. Wasting precious time. Wait for no one. Tell it like it is. Turn the lights low. Wasting precious time. Wait for no one. Tell it like it is. Turn the lights low. Wasting precious time. Wait for no one. Tell it like it is. Turn the lights low. Wasting precious time. Turn out the lights and dream of colors Wait for no one. Tell it like it is. Turn the lights low. Wasting precious time. Turn out the lights and dream of colors Wait for no one. Tell it like it is. And breathing takes practice and its practice we missed So we die end transmission we're giving up Climb the spires in hopes of… Climb the spires in hopes that The stand off ends today Climb the spires in hopes of… Climb the spires in hopes that The stand off ends today We're surrounded… just drop the gun The fields have been cut off with stars and black windmills Sudden full… sudden release! We're surrounded… just drop the gun The fields have been cut off, the ticking clock spins out of control Suffer face, hands, suffocate We're surrounded… just drop the gun The fields have been cut off with stars and black windmills Sudden full… sudden release! We're surrounded… just drop the gun The fields have been cut off, the ticking clock spins out of control Suffer face, hands, suffocate And breathing takes practice and its practice we missed So we die end transmission we're giving up We're surrounded… just drop the gun The fields have been cut off with stars and black windmills Sudden full… sudden release! | Anatomy of a Ghost – Birth Of A Mile Lyrics | 19 years ago |

here's the full lyrics... Never found our way out again Cause to trace this blood trail is more than I can bear This is my spring I finally fixed the car, floored out of here I'll find out who my friends are, the ones waiting tomorrow morning I pushed this away so hard, this is my spring, fixed the car today I wish I were lighter, the weariness weighs too heavily on me. This is my spring still cold enough for snow from planes tracing seams Across the sky overhead seed the soil left to fallow too long With pamphlets proclaiming "falls finally dead" The steering wheel never mine to turn Now it turns on any tangent but around That's something you still have to learn With the muffler my memory removed I'm spared the sound, never found our way out again; Never found our way out again Cause to trace this blood trail is more than I can bear From planes tracing seams across the sky overhead Seed the soil left to fallow too long With pamphlets proclaiming "falls finally dead" “so long!” So much like growing up falling becomes fallen and buried alive But buoyancy keeps it up survive, (keeps it alive) So much like growing up falling becomes fallen and buried alive But buoyancy keeps it up survive, (keeps it alive) So much like growing up falling becomes fallen and buried alive But buoyancy keeps it up survive, (keeps it alive) So much like growing up falling becomes fallen and buried alive But buoyancy keeps it up survive, (keeps it alive) So much like growing up falling becomes fallen and buried alive But buoyancy keeps it up survive, (keeps it alive) So much like growing up falling becomes fallen and buried alive But buoyancy keeps it up survive, (keeps it alive) So much like growing up falling becomes fallen and buried alive But buoyancy keeps it up survive |

| Anatomy of a Ghost – Beauty Is In It's Embrace Lyrics | 19 years ago |

if you're gonna love the band to death, at least get the lyrics right... Inside display of broken wings So smooth porcelain face cracks and flakes away Turns pulse flying down telephone lines to the pictures On your wall burning on contact And the branches were stripped under winters numb What was precious gets lost With the breath that was the fire burning through the room What was precious get’s lost Lies! Fires! Circle and engulf this room in this moon Lies! Fires! Circle and engulf this room in this moon And we won't come back under back drop of mountains above Pastels in flames, flames that crawl up Time won’t stop for the hurt And the branches were stripped under winters numb What was precious gets lost With the breath that was the fire burning through the room What was precious get’s lost It hits the back seat tearing fabric from the lines Till the clouds come to swallow the night Leaving less piled on the floor This one hands you the all we fall. This one hands you the all we fall. This one hands you the all we fall. This one hands you the all we fall. This won’t hurt you, won’t wait for. This won’t hurt you, loose your voice. This one takes life, loose your face. This one hurts, won’t wait for. This one hands you the all we fall. This one hands you the all we fall. This one hands you the all we fall. This one hands you the all we fall. This won’t hurt you, won’t wait for. This won’t hurt you, loose your voice. This won’t hurt you, won’t wait for. This one hands you the all we fall |

| Modest Mouse – Dark Center of the Universe Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
here's the lyrics. i dunno how long each line is allotted. so, lines start with capital letters... Well I may disintegrate into the thin air if you’d like I'm not the dark center of the universe like you thought And I might disintegrate into the thin air if you’d like And I'm not the dark center of the universe like you thought Well it took a lot of work to be the ass I am And I'm really damn sure that anyone can Equally, easily fuck ya over Well died said something but I didn't mean it Everyone's life ends but no one ever completes it Dry or wet ice, they both melt and you're equally cheated Well it took a lot of work to be the ass I am And I'm really damn sure that anyone can Equally, easily fuck ya over Well an endless ocean landing on an endless desert Well it's funny as hell, but no one laughs when they get there If you can't see the thin air then why the hell should you care? Well it took a lot of work to be the ass I am And I'm really damn sure that anyone can Equally, easily fuck ya over Well sure you'll tell me you've got nothing to say And our voice shook hands the other day If you can't see the thin air then what the hell is in your way? Well I may disintegrate into the thin air if you’d like And I'm not the dark center of the universe like you thought Well it took a lot of work to be the ass I am And I'm really damn sure that anyone can Equally, easily fuck ya over Well an endless ocean landing on an endless desert Well it's funny as hell, but no one laughs when they get there If you can't see the thin air then why the hell should you care? Well it took a lot of work to be the ass I am And I'm really damn sure that anyone can Equally, easily fuck ya over Well died said something but I didn't mean it Everyone's life ends but no one ever completes it Dry or wet ice, they both melt and you're equally cheated Well it took a lot of work to be the ass I am And I'm really damn sure that anyone can Equally, easily fuck ya over Well sure you'll tell me you've got nothing to say And our voice shook hands the other day If you can't see the thin air then what the hell is in your way? |

okay... here are the lyrics... When I can work out how it was Then I'll tell you TV stained my memories, yeah I don't fit the shoes Remeber through sounds Remeber through smells Remeber through colors Remeber through towns With fear and fascination On what was here and what's replacing them now Interchange, plazas, and malls And crowded chain restaraunts More housing developments go up Named after the things they replace So welcome to Minow Brook And welcome to Shady Space It all seems a little abrupt No I don't like this change of pace |

| Modest Mouse – A Life of Arctic Sounds Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| ummm, possibly a break up song? or an attempt to not have one? "as long as your gone" as in, if you're away i won't be able to apologize. so, maybe he's talking about having said something and she left, so, now he's going all this way there. but along the way he starts to loose hope "and 1100 miles is too far inside a car" so he turns around and is just like: "i'll write my name in the sun" or, i'm going away, watch me into the sunset (western style) and he'll live alone "life of arctic sounds" and he sees the humor in this irony (going miles for nothing) and he says, "hey, alright. so i screwed up. whatever." maybe something like that. | |
| Modest Mouse – Other People's Lives Lyrics | 19 years ago |

argh... this song is incomplete. you can't make full sense until you have all the lyrics. i have most of them, but not all of them, here... This is how it seems to be: Other people’s lives seem more interesting, cuz they ain’t mine Other people’s lives seem more interesting, cuz they ain’t mine Other people’s lives seem more interesting, cuz they ain’t mine Other people’s lives seem much more interesting Well I’m fed up and I need to go out of existence Or just down the road forever Well later that night on the side of the road I’m out of gas and I should have known better Well a guy shows up, he’s twenty-five years old Always thought this kid was such a mama’s boy He said… and that’s what he said He’d been in the army and he did some speed He went down to Thailand and he did the deed Oh yeah… he did it for the boys Well the cop showed up way damn late I was excited though I usually hate to see them Other people’s lives seem more interesting, cuz they ain’t mine Other people’s lives seem more innocent, cuz they ain’t mine Other people’s lives seem more interesting, cuz they ain’t mine And other people’s lives seem more interesting, cuz they ain’t mine Well later that night on the side of the road I’m out of gas and I should have known better, yeah Well I’m fed up and I need to go out of existence Or just down the road forever, oh yeah, yeah Well a guy shows up, he’s twenty-five years old Always steals his kisses, such a mama’s boy He said… and that’s what he said Palm tree houses are way down lane I was excited but usually I hate to see them (Isaac mumbling) Open drawer, out of sight, on the road, out of road, going out Out of gas, out of road, out of car, out of everything at last Out, out and rent a car, and you’ve got yourself a crazy walk I said bowlegged, or maybe your just being peg legged Or something like that Buh duh duh, duh duh buh duh duh, duh duh duh Buh duh duh, duh duh buh duh duh, duh duh duh Buh duh duh duh duh (etc) Well later that night on the side of the road I’m out of gas and I should have known better, oh yeah, oh yeah The cop showed up, way damn late I was excited but usually I hate to see him… yeah Buh duh duh, duh duh buh duh duh, duh duh duh Buh duh duh, duh duh buh duh duh, duh duh duh Buh duh duh duh duh (etc) (Isaac is mumbling) Big car, and I should’ve promised myself I can not go when there’s nothing better And it’s better all alone on the side of the road I could’ve sworn she left when I was drunk My god now her face is gone It goes on and on and on and on Out of gas and nothing left Got caught but I’m still on the gas I said, I said, I said now I’m gonna break my pace (Isaac is mumbling) |

| Coheed and Cambria – In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
ok... so, there's a lot i read on here about the actual lyrics. there's two versions. i'll post them both below. the first is the CD version, and i put a careful ear to this, so, question me if you want, but, i took my time doing this. IKSOSE3 (cd version) Broad incision sits across the evening A victim to our fathers lost war The restless children sit and mourn the graves Of those they've never seen before Will they be buried here among the dead? In the silent secret The pioneers... in dealing with it They march for dawn, of Will and worthy The truth be told the child was born Man your own jackhammer Man your battle stations We'll have you dead pretty soon, and now Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine To you, man your own battle station We'll have you home pretty soon Awake through motion with curiosity To curtain your first move Over arm's length they'll break protocol Jealous envy for the youngest one To be the hero is all I'll ask Can I be buried here among the dead? With room to honor me here in the end You'll be better off too, soon You'll be better off when you get home The pioneers... in dealing with it They march for dawn, of Will and worthy The truth be told the child was born Man your own jackhammer Man your battle stations We'll have you dead pretty soon, and now Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine To you, man your own battle station We'll have you home pretty soon For you, I'd do anything just to make you happy Hear you tell me that you're proud of me For them I'll kill anything Cut the throats of babies born Break their hearts for they were them Waiting for you to say "I love you too" The navigator... The pilot... Her favorite The one they call the vision that bears the gift The navigator... The pilot... Her favorite The one they call the vision that bears the gift Will, do the children really understand The things you did to them? And why, oh why? Should they conjure up the will? For you, my love, I would kill him We're coming home pretty soon. We're coming home In the seventh turning hour Will the victims shadow fall? Should the irony grow hungry? "i'd rather not see her.." and they take jesse t the end. and he tries to ask one last thing "deliver a favor to my love" but, it ends and they take him. three evils comes and they kill jesse, they bleed him and burn him hence "what for my brothers bloodless savior?" said earlier. claudio is coming and jesse's dead and all, and the story continues from there. but the line sung live is actually "so tell me what for my brothers bloodless savior." |
