when i listened to this song...the first few lyrics made me think it was about rape---since he says:
"Can you taste the fear in her sweat...weve done this wrong its too far gone these sheets tell of regret"
Which may mean that she is afraid bcuz he is raping her, and he is doing this wrong (by having sex with her) and that the sheets tell of regret of what he did that was wrong!?! but a lot of ur postings made me think otherwise |

i totally get how u guys think it is about romeo and juliet--it basically has many parts dealing with it...they do that alot, like already dead reminds me of Macbeth in some ways, like the lyrics "you shook my hand and thought i was ur friend, i was planning your final struggle"..if uve read both R&J and Macbeth, u will realize it...its so weird that they do that...but at the same time, it is so kick a$s |

I just think that if u listen to the lyrics and take them literally instead of trying to look for a meaning...n if u have read Shakespeares "Macbeth", you will totally be amazed at how the lyrics are similar to the play?? weird- i think so! haha |

I would definatly say that this song is about a relationship, however, i think that the guy in the relationship feels safe in the it, "you are the fire on my apartment floor, sixteen stories, i'd rather burn the fall" I would say that he would rather be with "her" rather then be single...just a thought. |
