Umm Mindy AND Antilove; I agree. Personally, I'm NOT a fan of Fall Out Boy. I admit that I prefer band's old stuff compared to their new stuff when bands become widely known. There's just something about their music that changes... maybe they get too caught up and their lyrics or maybe even their voices don't match their old stuff. Maybe they want to just experiment music genres, and their music ends up changing in the long run - i don't know what it is, but their music DOES change, and that usually forces me to dislike a band when they become "famous". No offense to FOB lovers, but Fall Out Boy is just a poser band. If you listen to them there's nothing that spectacular about them; nothing new, nothing great, nothing... zip. Just face it. AS FOR OCTOBER FALL: Second Chances is a sweet song; it's cute and simple. |

"She's dressed to kill" the title of the song brought me to that conclusion as well. He calls her a traitor: "She had the eyes of an angel" - Illusion, because she acted like an angel "with a heart like a traitor" -Voila. WELL. I'm out. |

But another thing I must admit is that Fort Minor isn't one of those kinds of bands. They are rap group like no other that raps about things that are actually important NOT like most rappers that rap about sex,drugs,and girls. Itsa really sweet song. Hahah. Nice. You guys need to seriously respect each others musical tastes. If someone is into Christian related music, and others are into Punk-Rock, or Alternative, or even Metal for that matter, you just gotta respect it. Don't just go onto a bands page, and post bullshit about them. Keep your opinions to yourselves. Now about Relient K: When I first listened to them, I honestly did not know that they were Christian related. When I found out, it didn't change my outlook or view of them at all. It just changed the way I viewed their lyrics. I agree with whoever posted saying that Christian related bands write and have more emotion than others. But, so does Metal. All the screaming is an emotion. People that diss Metal and say that it isnt music... You've got it all wrong. Metal is made up, usually, loud, heavy sounding beats -sometimes with screaming. People that like that kind of music (I do) may like the music because they can relate to it. When someones angry, they usually play the loudest song they can find. Most of the loudest songs available are Metal. My definition of Music: 'an art of sound that a person can listen, understand, interpret, and relate to' So, if you guys like Christian related bands, Relient K is one of the best out there. |

I totally love this song by Foxy Shazam! I personally think that the lyrics are about how a certain someone makes him feel. Because it says, "That concentrated gaze, you gave my eyes" "I've never looked this deep into myself before, And I'm pretty sure that I'm only human, then again I could be wrong" Give the hint that he's never felt this way about himself or about someone else. Also, when he says: "I've never felt this way about anything, I am a Beast, and I'm pretty sure that there is no cure, but then again I could be wrong" Gives the sense that he is torn between two identities. One -A beast ; Two -A human. But at the end of the song: "Live today, but tonight, chain me to the bed and chain it tight, out of control, I am a Beast" He has finally decided that he is a beast and that's how they make him feel.
