| Rancid – Who Would've Thought Lyrics | 18 years ago |
No one cares about your broken relationships. They want to know what the song means. To me, it's just about the realization that you have everything you ever wanted even though you never expected to have it in your life. About Brody or not, it really doesn't matter. It's just about someone he loved. |

| Green Day – She Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Apparently this song was an epiphany for every tweenie Green Day fan out there who feels the need to tell us their life story and how it somehow relates to this song. I think everyone's basically summed up the meaning of this song. It's about a person locked in by society's expectations who's looking for a way out. And look at that, I didn't give you a paragraph about my life...lykomgnowayz. |

| (+44) – Baby Come On Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Honestly I think most everyone got the meaning of the song. But I also take a lot of it quite literally, too. "And I think I just fell in love with her But she won't ever remember, remember" I think that basically refers to the girl's alcoholism and how she becomes so intoxicated she'll never remember what happened the night before because she spends her time drowning in alcohol. |

| NOFX – Vegetarian Mumbo Jumbo Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I'm a vegetarian because I hate meat (the taste and texture and shit) not because I really care about animals dying, even though I don't agree with treating any living thing like total shit. But that's not why I follow the lifestyle I do. Vegetarianism is healthier as well partially because you avoid all the hormones pumped into the fucking animals. The only reason I don't like this song is because it seems ignorant to me to assume everyone has the same reason for doing something. They just assume that vegetarians would otherwise like meat and are animal rights activists. Not always the case. |

Let's Go is probably my favorite Rancid album, but I like this one too. I love the bass line in this song even though it's pretty simple. |

| Rancid – Radio Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song does kick ass. I'm usually not into songs about people's parents because they usually turn out to be shitty and whiny (examples: see simple plan's career) but this is pretty damn good. I don't really like the NOFX cover very much. |

| Rancid – Bob (NOFX cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Yeah, seriously...how many people have to say ithe exact same thing? Score about 10 for redundancy. I like the cover better mostly because I don't like horns in bands like this that much. |
| NOFX – Olympia, WA Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I like the Rancid version better. Probably because I like Rancid more than NoFX. Hate me for it if you want to. I've seen them both, and I think Rancid put on a better show. But I know plenty of people would disagree with me, and that's cool too. Either way, this is still a great cover. |

| NOFX – The Separation of Church & Skate Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I don't think the punk scene would be any better off without NoFX. Every band has its influences, and without those good bands to be an influence, all of music would go to shit. To me this song is just about the separation of conformity and doing what you want. Instead of listening to authority, turning down your music, and being polite...NoFX is telling people not to forget the rebellion the scene was founded on. I think whoever says that you can't have a Christian punk should think about it. I'm personally not religious, but punk is also about standing up for what you believe in and if you honestly believe in God, I respect you for standing up for that. I think it's stupid to say that Christian punks are conforming anymore than you're conforming to the stereotype of what punk "should" be, and what people view it as. To me, punk is about doing what you want, and in some regards I disagree with NoFX telling people who they should be and how they should act because it seems hypocrital to put punk into such a small box. |

| The Casualties – Made In N.y.c Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I like this song a lot...but I agree, the first time I heard it, I didn't know what the fuck he was saying. But I got it after a few times. I like this song's lyrics. It's obviously about the Ramones and "Made in N.Y.C" is referring to the fact, like the person above me said, that the Ramones started in New York. I honestly don't see why people waste their time commenting on things they don't like...Seems like a waste of time to me. |

| Against All Authority – Sunshine Fist Magnet Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song brings a tear to my eye. It's about Brian Deneke, the 17 year old from Amarillo, Texas who was killed by Dustin Camp in '97. The punks and the jocks had been fighting, and in short, Camp ran him over with a Cadillac. On top of that, he only received the penalty of manslaughter serving a year and then getting out. Sunshine was Brian's nickname. "There ain't no justice if you aren't like them." Brian Deneke didn't receive justice. He was different...and somehow the jury figured he had it coming. I agree with every word of this song. I hope I can ever be half as strong as Brian Deneke was...and he DIED being himself. He didn't deserve his death...and now he's gone forever. People are afraid of what they don't understand. Teach tolerance. No one should have to die like he did. No one should be run over in a parking lot intentionally with the final words of the killer being "I bet he liked that one." Brian Deneke is dead. Let his life be an example. RIP. '78-'97 |

| Bouncing Souls – Punks In Vegas Lyrics | 19 years ago |
To me this song is really about loving whatever you do and how memories will always be sweet. Bouncing Souls are an amazing band who, as the person above said, keep good music making alive in a cultured shadowed with a ton of shit in the music industry, |

| Propagandhi – Less Talk, More Rock Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I don't feel the need to state what this song is about as it has already been done. This is one of my favorite songs because it's so true and I admire Propagandhi's willingness to say whatever the fuck they want. |

| Anti-Flag – That's Youth Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Amazing, realistic, and honest. I love this band because they reveal the truth about a lot of things...and all of their songs have a real message. Just as any punk band should. I love this song because it's so true. That is what youth is like and it always reminds me of my friends and the summer. Great memories. Bouncing Souls DEFINITELY do an awesome cover. | |
| Green Day – I Don't Want to Know If You Are Lonely (Husker Du cover) Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Yeah, Billie Joe didn't write this song... But it's an awesome song. I just think it's about someone overly clingy whom he still cares for, but really wants his space from. |
| Green Day – Ha Ha You're Dead Lyrics | 20 years ago |
To me this song has a simple meaning. It's about a person that all of us know. It's about a person you can't stand, no matter who that is. I think the whole "dead" aspect is just symbolizing a "Yay, you're gone!" kind of thing...And once the person is out of your hair you're just thrilled. I think that's what this song is talking about. But I think he's more looking forward to getting rid of the person. |

| Green Day – Reject Lyrics | 20 years ago |
I agree with some of the people above. The song was initially written as a response to an angry letter from the mother of an eight-year-old boy complaing about the content of Green Day's songs and how Billie Joe could put his talent to a better use. This is, more or less, his response. To me personally, this song is aboout doing whatever the hell you want to do and not listening to what other people say. It's also a message to everyone who likes to stick their nose where it doesn't belong telling them to back off. It's a you live your life and I'll live mine kind of thing. I don't think Billie Joe is a typical reject. I just think he does what he wants and as many people accept him as they do reject him, but I don't think it makes a difference to him. |

| Avenged Sevenfold – The Wicked End Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Alright, this might be really out there, but this is how I interpret it. I think this song is kind of making fun of religious 'fanatics' who take every little thing as a sign of the end of the world. I think he's saying to live like there's no tomorrow, because there might not be, but to just live and stop overanalyzing everything. I also think it's kind of saying that we think our lives are the peak of humanity when we don't know what is to come. We don't know when the world is going to end, and we don't know what future generations may hold. I am Christian, but I think there's a fine line between religious and fanatical. Hah. I knew that was going to sound out there. |
