Well think about it, this is right before the funeral (obviously) but at the funeral they're all seperated, i've only seen teh movie and a very bad film of the play, so i didn't understand this, but hearing it and seeing the lyrics, it makes sense. This is everyones dream, their vision so to say, of what they want, then at the end, everyone breaks up, But the last line, Collins' It's Over sounds so sad, it shows that he didn't want it to be over |

Just to tell you this is Kinda wrong, Mimi isn't singing about Dance in here, it's a random chorus member, as Mimi and Roger are exchanging a small, lovely kiss.
Buts it's mostly just explaining the triple threats of Musical Theatre; Dance, Singing, Acting (Film).
This is after the song I Should Tell you between Roger and Mimi.
It's also saying that they will fight the law til they get justice, |

This song is about a girl (originally Mulan) trying to find exactly who she is, and Why she cannot do what she wants ("Why is my reflection someone else") and she wants to be her own person, an individual ("When will my reflection show") It can also be about a person who had a group of friends when she was very young, but as they got older, they all changed to be what the tabloids and media wants you to be, but she wanted to be different. |

I have the vocal score of this song arranged byMac Huff for choral, it's not that much different, but i personally like Cindy's version better, because her voice is so strong and powerful, it really moved me |

Listen How It Goes, My Rhythm, Good to enjoy, Mulatto
Mulatto is a spanish term meaning an offspring of African or European heritage, SO saying this song is a spanish and african song maybe... But i love, it, we're playing it in Jazz, and i play cowbell =P
But yea, this song is really just saying that it's from european and african descendence |
