Meshuggah – Spasm Lyrics 19 years ago
it seems more like a description of a seizure, how the body's impulses from the brain become uncontrollable. such as in epilepsy, "tremulous epileptic strokes"

Type O Negative – Burnt Flowers Fallen Lyrics 19 years ago
I think its missing a few lines. If I'm not mistaken, doesn't he change it to "fallen" at one point? Where he says
"Yeah I know she's fallen out of love"

Opeth – Bleak Lyrics 20 years ago
Yeah someone is being killed here. Possibly a relationship that ends in murder because of something, maybe betrayal or cheating? "Breath comes out white clouds with your lies" sounds like their relationship is going bad. The first verse is like they want it to work out but one doesn't trust the other. Thats just my take on it, I could be wrong.

Opeth – The Leper Affinity Lyrics 20 years ago
I agree, rape doesn't seem (to me at least) to be Opeth's style. A lot of their songs are about death or the loss of someone. They seem to be a bit more poetic about it too.

Porcupine Tree – Arriving Somewhere But Not Here Lyrics 20 years ago
I never thought about the drunk driving accident. I got the impression that the person in the song pulled over one night, possibly to help someone, and was shot and left to die in their car. The lines "Could you imagine the final sound as a gun
Or the smashing windscreen of a car?
Did you ever imagine the last thing you'd hear as you're fading out
Was a song?" went with that thought, and the rest of it sounds like the thoughts he is having, he can't believe its over with.

Porcupine Tree – Collapse The Light Into Earth Lyrics 20 years ago
Think about the title "Collapse The Light Into Earth", with this being the last song it reminded me of the sun setting. Kinda like something comming to an end.
