| Kula Shaker – Tattva Lyrics

Hmm. With my own research online, I took "acintya bheda bheda Tattva" to mean "inconceivable difference breaking apart reality" or that you can't understand the difference, because to understand it would shatter your reality, like the difference between a flower and the scent of summer, etc... Just my ramblings. |

Any idea what the beginning is? I'm pretty sure it's sanskrit, but I can't understand it that well.
That being said, awesome song by an awesome band. |

Element1711, I had the same thought...
It is a very good song, possibly my favorite from (+44); and Forever_Temporary, you hit the nail on the head with the meaning. |

Parts of this song remind me of an old Sega Genesis game... Outrun 2019. Some of the music from that game sounded like a bit of this song. |

This has to be the most emo sounding song on the album... but one of the best tracks. frozenphoenix32, you got the meaning dead-on. |

At the end, I hear Bowie saying something that sounds like "Eat that pussy now." Perhaps it is just my dirty mind, but there is definitely something there. |

| Ludacris – Get Back Lyrics

Just to add some more info on how it got its name...
The Red Light District is named for the red lights that are in the windows of the whorehouses. when the lights are on, they are with a client.
for those of you who have heard the song roxanne by the police, the line "dont turn on the red light" is also a reference to this |

| Rilo Kiley – A Better Son/Daughter Lyrics

this song makes me want to cry, because of the emotion and power in the vocals starting in the lines:
And sometimes when you're on
You're really fucking on |

Is the singing by Jenny at the end of this track on Execution of All Things considered part of this song? |

Is it just me, or does Jen Wood seem like the kind of singer who wouldn't swear?
Anyways, I love her voice and her emotion in the lyrics in pretty much every Rilo Kiley song... great band |

| TV on the Radio – Wear You Out Lyrics

all of the songs on the album follow the theme of the title of the album, desparate youth and bloodthirsty babes... the youth are desparate for sex, and the ones who it easily comes to (the babes) are bloodthirsty, a metaphor for them wanting more
hah analysis at 2 am isnt good, but its the best i can come up with now |

| Spoon – All the Pretty Girls Go to the City Lyrics
| 19 years ago
|
Incu, are you high, or just incredibly stupid?
I would have to go with high, based on the grammar.
Either way, the song to me seems to be about prostitutes. Think about it!
"All the pretty girls go to the city" - Where do you see more prostitutes? New York, or the middle of Pennsylvania?
"Left home as soon as they were old enough" - They became 18 and left home to go to the city to become whores.
Think about it! |

xiaohoa - the name of the album is a reference to two of the band members dying in the harsh winter during the recording....
but onto the song.. this is possibly my favorite on the album, the whole thing is great, but this song stands out as being powerful and a personal deal for Regine |
