| Protest the Hero – Blindfolds Aside Lyrics

"A sin I didn't care for, but a sin that paid my debts
A sin that fed my children and burned my smiles and cigarettes
A sin I didn't care for, but a sin that paid my debts
A sin that fed my children and burned my smiles and cigarettes"
This bit seems to come after the song has finished and Is sung by a girl so could it be Keiza talking about her crime (prostitution?) and how it was something she didn't agree with or want to do but had to do to support her family etc? |

| Chimaira – Six Lyrics

I think the 'She' in the song is the band and how they've had to go through so much bullshit and overcome so many obstacles but they're here to stay and fucking conquer. That would link in with the song being called six as SystemBranden mentioned this is how many of them are in the band. |

| Disturbed – Down with the Sickness Lyrics

This is probably the worst, most annoying 'metal' song ever released, its so repetative and the riffs are just boring. What makes it worse is that every rock club in england plays it every fucking week. I really hate it. There's so much more creative intelligent music out there yet people settle for this garbage. |

This is the worst rise against song it sounds like something good charlotte or my chemical romance would write. Hopefully this is a blip on whats otherwise a great album rather than a sign of things to come. |

Johnny truant are fucking amazing, been a fan for years, will have to post some of their older stuff- seven days at knife point is an incredible song. I think this song's about vampires
"What now? Your bloods infected
It's all sinister and masturbated
Let go of his neck"
and "take the stakes and hatchets" as in to kill the vampires (stake through the heart) |

I'm surprised no-one has commented on this song- Unearth are incredible and this song is awesome. I think it could be about the war on iraq- "invade with foul fingers"
"they say some are born with a blackened heart, fell to the curse of a bastard life" could be unearth's view on the american government's view on the citizens of iraq. |

| 50 Cent – P.I.M.P. Lyrics
|
"If he sold over a million albums in 4 days then he gotta be doin somethin right."
Just because something sells by the truckload doesn't necessarily make it any good, westlife sell records, the spice girls sold millions of records, the bible is the biggest selling book of all time. So the fact that he sells records is irrelivant.
The fact of the matter is that 'get rich or die trying' seems to be the new american dream which doesnt say much for society. How can he sleep at night when he has the chance to give a positive message to millions of people. Responsibility is a dying art form, 50 Cent could show people that its possible to rise above humble begginings and get anywhere and do anything if you try but instead he is reduced to rapping about how he is a pimp and a gangster. |

| Thursday – Asleep in the Chapel Lyrics
|
'still the choir girls sing, 'oh lord, can you save us? oh lord, sing hallelujah'
they are the symptoms of letting go of all our hope... '
I interpret these lines as saying that when people are reduced to praying to God for salvation rather than doing something about it themselves hope truly dies. If humans cannot sort themselves out without having to rely on God then there is no hope left for humanity. Just my interpretation. |

| Poison the Well – Material Christ Lyrics

I would say that although the main theme of the song is people who eploit religion for money it does end with
'Your god is nothing
Your god is non existent
He`s nothing'
Which to me seems a pretty strong indication that they are saying that god doesnt exist. |
