Aside from the horrible music video to this song, to me this song just seems to be about shedding everything you're expected to be and revealing who you truly are. "Let's go back Back to the beginning Back to when the earth, the sun, the stars all aligned" - I'm just guessing that means maybe to a time where everyone were equals, and it didn't matter who or what you were? I'm not too sure on that, to be honest. Ehh, I hate Hilary Duff, but this song I really like. Not to fond of her voice, but it's still a good song. |

The line "I tried hard to save the feathery wings" should be "I'm trying to earn a set of feathery wings." And onward.. I love this song. I always thought of it as a man trying to stop a loved on from killing themselves. In thepokeduck's post, where Voltaire says it's from the angel of death's point of view, I could see that. Anyways, this is a beautiful song. |
