i dont rite on these, i especially signed up b cos use are all missing the point i think this song is about his divorce. loads of the songs on TCATS are, like everlong and new way home. It states right at the beginnning of everything that he is scared of what might happen to him, probly in life and the album, now he is on his own. it is saying that after of all the years of having a partner he is scared of being alone (you know in all the times that we shared i've never been so scared) if u notice, the first song on the album is about being scared of being alone and the last, new way home, is about not being scared anymore (i felt like this on my way home, i'm not scared) makes sense anyway |
