I can see where imnotSxEx gets the idea of the widowed wife. I can see that now. Not a bad idea. This was the first song I heard by Eisley, simply because a friend of mine had it playing in the background during our phone conversation. I'm so glad she played it! She let me borrow the CD, and I went out and bought one the next day for myself. It's just such an awesome band! With that said, we were talking about what it may mean. She said she thought the husband and wife got a divorce and the "seeds she sows" were the children. "he's no longer here with us" being that he no longer lives with them. So, she thought maybe they were singing from personal experience. From what I've read though in the last 2 days that I've known about them, it seems that their parents are together with no troubles. I for one love that there could be so many different meanings. Their songs are just so mystical and magical! I wish I heard of them sooner! |
