I don't know how you got the God message out of all of this from him singing "the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end" every reference to this does not have to do with god just because it is quoted in the bible. Just like everytime someone says "I am" is not in reference to god. alpha and omega are the equivelant to A and Z in the alphabet, Literally the beginning and the end. The begining being birth, the end being death. The song is about life, the in between part. and taking advantage of it. living and loving and not dwelling on the past and how things used to be better, or people used to be better, because we just remember the good parts. I don't understand where people keep getting Pro-God references from Tom K, Have you not listened to Down, Down, Down to Mephisto's cafe? or the majority of the somewhere in the bewteen album. As for your proof that you have obtained there is a God or that Jesus of Nazareth is his son and e died for the sins of all i would love to see that evidence. If you studied Evolution before you discredited it perhaps you would understand the theories. First, we didn't come from monkeys, they are a distant relative. In the same way a German sheppard dint come from a Chihuahua they had a distant relative. Your understanding of evolution is skewed, a ape didn't decide one day that it wanted to walk upright and not have hair, these were traits that were favorable to survival and reproduction. therefore the were traits that were passed down. the most evident example to look at differences in dog breeds. A yorkshire terrier has the same common ancestor as a great dane (commonly believed to be the persian wolf) but in these breeds were reached by breeding dogs with the traits the breeder was looking for for that specific dog, Want a bigger dog? breed the 2 biggest dogs you find. then take the largest dog from that littler and breed it with other larger dogs. eventually you get large dogs. Same thing happens in evolution only instead of a breeder making these choices they are made by the breeding partner. A mate that can walk bipedaly instead of all fours has the benefit of carrying fruit and providing food, which is a benefit for child rearing and makes for a better partner. Is there no need for a tail? it wasn't just wished away it wasn't a benefit for reproduction or survival so it wasn't high on priorities when looking for potential mates and was eventually bred out. Gorillas dont have tails mind you. But Maybe that is because that is the way Jesus made them, It is a simple answer and one an i am more than happy to let you accept. But you have no proof. NONE that this is the case. so do not tout that you know how the universe was made or how things were created because you are going off of Ancient "fables and stories" (SLM uses that to refer to religious texts people base their lives off) Science has never claimed that their explanation for how the universe and life were created were absolute provable fact. simplyy theories because there is no way to use the scientific process to prove or disprove the begining. However they have bits and pieces and through observasion, deduction, they have formulated the most plausable and likely explanation. And so far there is no evidence that some magic guy in the sky got bored of just sitting in the dark (well not really the dark since he hadnt spoke it into exsistence yet) and decided you know what? i should make a universe so some of these human things can love me. |

But they werent trying to write a new album, this was jsut to screw over band that claims to be catch 22 from making money off toms work, and thats how he thought the record should originally sound. they have a new album coming out later this summer i think its supposed to be released the same time as the new botar album. i can not wait |

SM's version of Keasabey is so amazing i have been listening to it non-stop since i got it a few weeks ago, even though esentially it is a 10 year old album. it isnt just a remastered version they sped it up and rewrote horn sections. i simply cant get enough of what SM is doing not only for Ska but Music in general. As for what the interview at the end, i think when he is talking about the rerelease is quite apparent that he doesn't want "Catch 22" re-releasing nights, since after all that is the best c22 album simply because it was wrote by Tom. I love everything that they are doing and where their mindset is. their only concern is making quality music, if there were more bands like them this world would be a better place indeed And the drums are insane |

This song always made me think of an old black and white 20's gangster movie. pinstriped suits, tommy guns, all that jazz. and because of that i always thought the same about point and counterpoint. and i also incorperated 9mm and three piece suit into the mix as well I know thats most likely not at all related to the actual meaning or plot of the songs but i just like those thoughts, oddly romantic |

this song is from 'hard days pete' it is is season one i think calling it one of the best shows from nickelodeon is doing pete and pete an injustice. it is easily one of the best shows of all times. the show is so far ahead of its time. and it is something you can enjoy at any age it is fun to go back and watch certain episodes and catchin innuendos plus each episode has so many different stories that weave together much like seinfeld does. it just sad there were only 3 seasons |

I think the song is more about a guy who is interested in a girl who has over protective parents and him goosestepping across the kitchen floor is how he says he put on a act infront of her parents who are like nazis and her mom is the reigning queen of the questions because shes always asking questions trying to control her daughters life and that would explain why they keep checking their watches when shes out thats just my thoughts because i didnt really see the fooling around thing but that might just be me |
